Had never seen these shots of Ledger testing the costume before.....looks like the nurse outfit on the rack behind him as well.
Interesting that the vest was initially purple.

Those are really cool. Thanks for posting Pennyworth. I think I prefer the purple vest. I always wished his suit had more purple.

WOW! Thanks for posting those. Where are they from as I have never seen them and I pride myself on having seen all available. :lol

That's fantastic. Thanks for posting! I'm glad they went with the green, though; it adds a bit of a "pop."

Seeing those pics has just made me think that I've never really seen much behind the scenes of Ledger, there's nothing on the blu ray extras that I can recall?

I just read something that makes sense in the dark knight rises, in a missing scene an earlier cut explained why the bad guys had their valid reasons to wreak havoc in Gotham, part of it due to the dent act taking your rights as a criminal away, and why the elite in Gotham were sentenced by Jonathan crane with no option other than to die, the scene states this line was used when crane holds Gordon for trial:

"GORDON: No lawyer, no witnesses. What sort of due process is this?
CRANE: More than you gave Harvey's prisoners, Commissioner."

Something cool I think and explains a lot. I also found out something that it is kind of funny and changes the movie in some way, Miranda Tate kind of gives it away the fact that not everyone will die in from the nuclear explosion by saying this

"MIRANDA: No radiation, no fossil fuels ..."

Rewatching The Dark Knight, The Joker was kind of a ********* to the Chechen. That dude was with him from square one. He tells Gambol to sit, since he wants to hear what Joker has to say, actually considers it, rather than calling Joker a nutcase when he asks for half of everything, and even keeps his cool when Joker threatens to blow him up along with everyone else. Then, what happens? It seems like Joker has him butchered and fed to his dogs off-screen, all because he calls him a freak for wanting to burn a giant pile of money. Fo' shame.

Also, I don't care what anyone says, I loved Bale's TDK Batman voice. "His name is Schiff, Thomas; the kind of mind The Joker attracts. What do you expect to learn from him?" I swear, he sounded just like Clint Eastwood when he said that line.

Because to the Joker, everyone is a Pawn.

I think the voice was best in Begins. Swear to me!!

Eastwood is how Batman should sound. Eastwood from the Heart Break Ridge era would been a perfect The Dark Knight Returns Batman.

When I first saw Batman Begins, I was so happy with the voice choice. I love Kevin Conroy, but for love action that was exactly what I wanted. "Swear to me!" So awesome!

reminds me of how Michael Myers kills the Janitor (played by danny trejo) even though he was the nicest person to him in the Rob zombie movie

I don't even think it was being nice. The Chechen just seemed like a badass. I like to think he survived his last encounter with The Joker. He's the only one of the mobsters to ever inflict any damage on the Batman (due to his foresight in bringing dogs), he keeps his cool when threatened with various explosive devices, and, then, and only then, after hearing his propositions, hiring him, and seeing how dangerous The Joker actually is, that's when he finally decides "this guy's nuts and I'm gonna tell him to his face." Not the eccentric guy in clown make-up that stuck a pencil through someone's eye, the full blown psychopath who murdered two elected officials, as well as various others, blew up an Assistant DA, and escaped from a police station with a cell phone bomb is the one The Chechen decides to insult.

Guy's got a set of balls on him, that's for damn sure.

His BB voice is the best, BB is probably the best overall depiction of Batman as a character in live action. I still think TDK is the best overall film in the trilogy though.

I completely agree with that assessment. I really appreciated Nolan giving us a complete character arc for Bruce.

yeah, he went from a thief with no money to a cripple with no money.... YAY NOLAN! :banana
