Have you seen his voting record?
Have you seen Obama's?

I'm not talking about media soundbites and talking heads. I mean actually sat down and looked at them yourself. McCain is W and Obama is change. The records are clear on that fact.

Mccain votes party line most of the time. Obama has one of the most liberal voting records ever. Obama aslo obstained from many important votes as well.

McCain voted for W policy over 90% of the time.

I'm not taking up for McCain but it is possible to have similiar views yet still differ on important matters. For example a Baptist and a Methodist are both Christians but their beliefs in doctrine are completely different, both still have a similar central purpose but go about fullfilling that purpose differently. It could be something similar but I'd like to hear McCain come out and explain himself on a lot of these issues because I tend to lean towards your feelings at this point as well. I'm just saying it is possible.

O

And Obama has one of the most liberal voting records EVER...what's your point? McCain in a republican so he's bound to vote part line most of the time as I already said, but lets not confuse every republican with being the same as Bush. That's like calling every Democrat another Jimmy Carter.

McCain's chief campaign adviser on health care is a complete idiot too. He wants to change the definition of "uninsured" so it cooks the crappy numbers on just how many people have no insurance in this country.

McCain is all for changing the names of problems so the problems go away. Problem is life doesn't work that way.

Oh I HATe McCain's health plan and I hope if he wins that plan gets thrown on the scrap heap.

When issues like the economy and war are at stake I think I can very much see W as the face of repub party thanks. If being a republican means towing the line so we can spend billion$$$$ a month on war and send millions of jobs overseas (ie the status quo) and McCain voted to support these W policies, I believe I am pretty safe to say a McCain presidency would pretty much be a continuation of the last 8 years.

Also, Obama's promised tax cut.....give me a break. Sure, cut takes on me and get me $10 a month more in my pocket right? Oh, wait.....he wants to tax the businesses right? Great, gee, I wonder if they will pass those higher taxes on to us with higher prices to cover those taxes? Um, of course they will.

Thanks for clearing up that your view of the republican party is so biased that you'll never listen to what anyone from the right says. Have a nice day.

FYI... pixletwin was a member of the Utah chapter of Young Repubs till I came to my senses... not that I have any illusion that either party is a white knight.

So let me guess...you went off to college and "woke up" when you started to swallow the tripe of all the liberal profs?

I would like to know how what I wrote exposes me as biased.. or is that just a knickname you throw at anyone who doesn't like war or high unemployment rates or the largest federal deficit in history?

I'm just curious to know what YOU would do if you were the presidential hopeful. The candidates pander to the public, trying to get them to believe that they see their struggles and will do something about it. I think most of us know that it's not as easy as that.....depending which party is running the House and Senate they could vote down any changes that the President wants to make. I stay out of politics on public forums - my vote is my business and I get enough of a headache listening to my family when it comes to these matters. But everyone (not just you Kit) is quick to jump on how this idea won't work and this is b.s., etc.....but if anyone has any ideas on what should be done to help get this country back on it's feet and stable again, I'm all for hearing it. :peace

Nope. I woke up when I learned to stop letting others do the thinking for me. By the way, you possess a full arsenal of preconceived notions... I'll add college graduates to the list.

Just as a clue. I grew up in Utah. What passes for a liberal here is still right wing everywhere else in the world. :lol

I love that he referred to himself in third person. I had to quote it just for that. Continue.

I'd be a democrat if they weren't so into pandering to segments of society like baby killers and such.

Why do they think they need them to win elections?

Pretty bad if you ask me.....

promises to pay teachers more?...doesnt everyone say that...yet no one has..haha

promises to bring the future automotive factories back to the usa??.... why/how is that when most americans desire foreign exotic imports

oh and i loved the line...McCain is two scared to go to the cave Osama is hiding in......ok...ill vote for obama if he in fact knows what cave hes in....million bucks he doesnt even know...

the whole speech made me laugh...and im still on the fence....every other night has been good up until tonight ..but then again all politicians are talking out the a$$...i just didnt think it was that good...no need to be hateful guys haha

i can't believe he had the nerve to question the courage of a man who was a POW. if obama meant it that way he's an idiot, if he didn't mean it that way he's clueless. the man spent 6 years in a POW camp in Vietnam.
