You can't compare this statue to the Hulk statue. This has WAAAY more paint apps plus a much higher licensing fee.

C'mom stop defending SSC price increase.

They started this line with a nice fair price of $250.. people like where thinking.. what a great line.. great concept.. the teaser picture of the whole set looking great !! and the price.. well..$250 sounds about right for a 1/5 scale statue Yeah.. lets go for it !! I PO Maul and can not wait for the rest to come.

Booom SSC has you on the hook now.. so lets jump to $350 for the next one.. if people get pissed.. we argue with much more detail on Obi and thats it. After that one.. we go for $325 on Boba.. so we are still over $350 and people will be at ease for a lower price ..

its just screwed up whats happening...

The price hike sucks yes but the best way to show your disapproval is to not purchase it. You could always go the FB approach and hound SSC but what is just is and without a loud enough voice they will not change anything. With all that being said I'm still getting this piece because it rocks and because it will help SSC stay in business to continue to make awesome collectibles, the best in the biz IMO.

I'm not privy to any of Sideshow's inner workings when it comes to the economics of of any particular collectible. Is it a large price hike in a short period of time? Sure.

But look into the complexity of putting this piece together. There's a lot of work that goes into a piece like this. It's more complex than Maul is. But if a person can't see this then nothing I say will change their mind.

Like I keep saying...if you disagree with the price hike...vote with your wallet and don't buy it. Simple.

it is ignorant because people who are looking forward to this line and have a limited budged and counting on this piece to be within their reach ($250 - $280) are forced to step back because SSC has no price increase limit. Just saying.. dont buy it is ignorant from you because you dont get other peoples point of view.

These are LUXURY items, not necessities. if you can't afford it, DONT BUY IT. very simple.
