it is ignorant because people who are looking forward to this line and have a limited budged and counting on this piece to be within their reach ($250 - $280) are forced to step back because SSC has no price increase limit. Just saying.. dont buy it is ignorant from you because you dont get other peoples point of view.

Couple guys seams not to get my point. They lure us with a $250 entry into this line and increase the next statue by what.. 40% ? that is mostly unexpected and maxed out markup !

Most everyone who is going to take the time to post in this thread can afford it so the argument to just take it or leave it is incredibly short-sighted. If you are following this statue to the degree that you are going to post complaints about it you've already planned to buy it, but to throw money at something blindly without question when this piece is the same price as Lady Death.... I mean I thought there would be no one who would defend this kind of price hike that makes it more expensive in some cases than a 1/4 PF. That's the debate here....not how much cash we have in the bank, but the poor business practices going on. I guess it's just human nature for some people to stick up for bad business. There's even people sticking up for the Bowen Spidey.

If you like the piece that much you could always look at what you have in your collection you don't need any more and sell it to help fund the new piece. It's what most of the veteran collectors do all the time. This method of collecting also keeps it fresh and fun. This is what I do all the time my collection is always evolving.

I was no way lured in by the $250 price tag of Maul. I was just hoping that it was the price point for the line. Obviously I was wrong but I entered into this hobby almost 20 years ago knowing that it was a luxury and with the mindset knowing I can't afford everything I want that is released. This is what makes collecting so much fun. If you have to slow down and/or save more money to get those expensive pieces in your collection then do what you have to do. No way is it SSC fault for being a business and changing with the times. Price hikes are inevitable and we must be prepared or be utterly let down by our own ignorance.

PS: want to talk about crazy...look at your own online website. you're charging $200+ for pieces of ____ statues that are low quality. sideshow is charging a bit more for high quality. how about a bit of perspective there bud?

Sideshow, in an effort to help out collectors, even put into place the Flexpay program for collectors to use to help pay for a collectible over a period of time instead of in one lump sum.

I know my website very well and my prices are the way they are because I dont sell thousands of my handmade/painted each manufactured in china..
I am very glad I have people who appreciate my work and also glad I dont have to deal with people like you...

You either agree with the price and pay it or you don't.

There have been several collectibles that I didn't like the price of and passed on them. I just didn't continue to incessantly complain about the price(s).

I have an off the topic of question, if Obi is going into hiding why would he take his Jedi armor? Wouldn't wearing it kinda give away that you're a Jedi? So when would he need or want that? I think that the statue is really cool, but I only collect 1/4 scale so I wont be getting him. It just seems like a strange thing for him to want to take with him.
