So the Mythos line is basically taking characters we know, spicing up their design from the norm and telling a unique story?

If that is the case it opens up so many possibilities.

It's kind of like the Hasbro Unleashed line that they did a while back.

Although this one is from the Visionaries graphic novel.

no.. I've been pretty upset about the price yesterday.. steam is out..still not comfortable with the price jump.. but what I meant with this statement was that after he is going up for PO... people will probably talking about the statue again and not fighting over different opinions.

Gotcha. You seemed to be very passionate about this piece. If you like it that much I think you should go for it and pick it up anyways. I know you won’t regret it. I just hate seeing a fellow SW fan miss out on anything they really like. I hope you will be able to get this piece in the end after it's all said and done.

Widest maybe but the Gamorrean guard is quite large and vader is tall

yep you are absolutely right. I fell in love with this statue right away. I was just pretty upset about the price. I was so sure the whole line will be $250. But yeah.. maybe you are right. Its just with two big ones on the horizon (Shaak Ti and Malgus) .. dont know what to do anymore.

It's taking characters we know and adding to their back-story. I'm so looking forward to hopefully seeing a Yoda, Han, Leia, Luke and many others!

If you only get ONE piece out of this line based on what's been revealed so far, this is THE piece to own. I have decided even though the price is higher then I wanted to pay I will be picking this piece up. I can't and won't pass it up. It just hits all the marks for me in terms detail, pose, and composition. The change out head sculpts are also spot on in likeness imo. I wouldn't want one thing changed on the entire piece.

I may very well pass on the rest of the line. Timing and price points will decide that but this is a must own piece for me.

man I wish I wouldnt Pod Maul... I can not transfer anymore and have applied a credit on him .. so canceling him I would lose almost $60... I would love to take that into Obiwan and live with paying off $300

Obi-Wan is the deepest of the ones at sdcc I thoug while Vader/Boba I thought were equal in height.

This is a very cool piece and I hope to be able to own it, but at the price, with the NRD and Sideshow's track record on statues, I will have to wait until this piece is in hand to place my order.

I just noticed he is carrying around Qui-Gon's lightsaber. This piece looks great, but I will wait to Pre-order. No telling how long it will be delayed, too. I doubt Sideshow will be able to get Maul in October and this November.
