Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Great dog tags Stryker82! Hey everyone please give a warm welcome to my personal friend, Stryker82! :clap

He's new here, and a great friend and 1/6 scale figure customizer and collector like the rest of us here. I recommended that he join and post his work and collections here for all of us to see and enjoy.

WELCOME STRYKER82! :D

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Awesome, thanks for sharing that Roc, I'll definitely want to collect these too, should be fairly affordable.

I'm guessing Hot Toys may try to cash in on the release of RAMBO with merchandise, I just hope they produce at least John from that film.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Now that is a nice bit of sculpting! And the head is poseable.

Here's the full spec-

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

The base could be about half as tall as it is, but other than that this looks great, and I love the poseable head concept, really adds to the piece to be able to make it posed however you want too. Be curious to see how it is once I get it.

Well I subscribe to a HT newsletter and get these emails every now and then, so I just cut and paste the info, but I just checked on the HT site and it says Q2, so I'll try and contact them on Monday to find out.-

The email also had the POTC Davy details, but that is listed as Q2
in the email and Q4 on the site, I'm guessing they got swapped, but I don't know which is right?

Its a plastic bust,so i dont think it will cost that much, its just 10" tall also,so its a very tiny bust.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Oh.............will you get this piece? I think the head sculpt is the best i've seen yet!

hehe, what do you think my answer is?

Yeah its the best rambo sculpt yet,but its not sooooo much difference than the Rambo 3 figure sculpt, remember, this is a early proto,so it might not be so much better than the sculpt on the figure.

True. I'm not really a bust kinda guy though so we'll see, if the price is right I may have no choice!

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I'm guessing this could be somewhere around $80-$100. It looks fantastic though, it's 1/4 scale, so I wonder if HT's work with Sideshow has rubbed off on them a bit and got them interested in working in a newer scale.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Wow, I have to say that is an amazing sculpt!! and 1/4 scale too, lets hope that this is a sign that Hot Toys eventually jumps into PF style 1/4 products.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

That's what I was thinking. I'd LOVE a PF Rambo :rock

Only thing I don't like is the commentary about coinciding with RAMBO's release, how about RAMBO based products to go with the film, not the others. Oh well, still time for a figure to come out.
