So, do you figure the (apparently) confirmed Hot Toys Christopher Reeve Superman will reduce or increase the value/price of the two-in-one Routh Superman?

I don't have a HT Superman yet, and I wouldn't mind having both the CR and the BR ... so I wouldn't mind seeing the price fall a bit (at least until I find one for a reasonable price).

Any recommendations on where to get one for a reasonable price, and which version to get? (I'm leaning two-in-one, but I've heard the V1 is good too).

SnakeDoc

I don't think it will affect it much, will prolly drop a little. It is still the best Superman figure to date.

Damn, this movie was bad.

It wasn't that bad. I would say it is better than most of the Marvel efforts. (Fantastic Four 1 & 2, Daredevil, Hulk, Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Man-Thing, Spiderman 3, Punisher Warzone . . .)

I liked it when I first saw it, because I love the first two movies so much that it was nice to go back into that world; but I saw it again recently and was really bored. I still wouldn't call it bad, it's just got nothing to offer beyond a Donner homage.

I thought The Increadible Hulk was good... Hulk, on the other hand, sucked.

Returns was on the other day. I really do like parts quite a bit... Anything to do with the damn kid or Lois just sucks my balls though.

I posted this in another thread, but thought it might fit here. :) I slit the suit down the back and then did a LOT of pulling and tugging to get the suit on a Hot Toys muscular body.

Did you consider trying the suit on a Wesker body with the muscular legs added? You may have got the results you desired and still had plenty of articulation.

That looks pretty good! He's more muscular than Routh of course, but since the 2-in-1 is more comic Superman than Routh (in my opinion), the bulk works. I haven't been a big fan of the over-use of the muscular bodies for Joes that I've seen, but I think it works very well there.

No, I made this a while back when the 2 and 1 first came out. I"m thinking of adding the thigh pads that came with the True Type my GF won for me on facebook. I agree with you in that it looks like the newer muscular bodies like Wesker, Wolverine, or Comedian would work so much better than the one I used. :)

Thanks! :)

That Supes looks amazing! Was it difficult to fit the muscular body in the suit?

Thanks!! Yeah, had to be careful not to rip it. It still has a slit down the back covered by the cape. I had to ug and pull until it sat right on the body.
