This has been discussed before, but I think the interest in this figure will remain high following the Reeve Superman release. The reason is 2 fold--1) this is essentially a "comic" Superman (based on head sculpt), and probably the best comic version in this scale that we will see in the near future. He looks really good, though not Routh by any means. I think that fact keeps interest in him high.
Secondly, though some will not care for him when Reeve comes (the figure that everyone will want), others will probably learn about it for the first time, or recognize an interest in him for the first time that will be sparked by the Reeve release.
Unlike the Batman or Joker re-releases, which were essentially updated, improved versions of previous figures, Reeve will be a completely different character and design, and so the Returns figure will hold interest and value I think.
Recent auctions seem to have been going for anywhere from $250 to $300, sometimes higher, but that has been the trend for several months that I've observed, long before the Reeve Superman rumor was announced.
