I think they both look pretty cool. The HT version has the wow factor, the costume, the accessories, the boots the hat, but there is something about the EB one that keeps pulling me back to it.

The head looks good, but the body looks odd, even with all those layers of clothing.

I think it looks great, apart from the boots..

I love the sculpt and head altogether. The real cloth bandana, the dreads, the reindeer shin bone. it all looks great.

I'm also curious as to what other hands he comes. the hands he comes with just look like "gesture" hands

The boots really aren't that bad in person. They're definitely the same boots from the original medi release, and I can assure you that these pics make the boots look really bad

Completely agree man, this seems more and more attractive to me. I love the fabric bandana as well. I think if you can afford this and the HT version you could put together the ultimate Sparrow. The one thing I love on these EB heads is how good the skin looks inhand.

EB's Sparrow head is magnificent- so is HTs...just some subtle differences in character look and attitude. If EB's Sparrow was price wise close to HTs I'd buy- too bad it's not!

I seriously couldn't care less about the whole Hot Toys Vs. Enterbay thing. I don't even plan on getting either version.
But, what I DO want to point out is, the Enterbay version looks no different from the earlier Medicom Jacks from past releases, with the exception of an upgraded head sculpt and a cloth head band. I think they are seriously jacking their customers big time.
Just an opinion, so fire away. Its like I said before, I don't plan on getting either. I'm just trying to point out the obvious to anybody that was on the fence on which one to get.

have to say that you are quite wrong there mate. (I don't want the following to come off as rude or anything, just giving the facts )

1)This isn't just an Enterbay figure, It's an Ultimate Unison which is Enterbay and Medicom working together

2) This isn't the original medi figure with just a better sculpt. I have the original medi and this is not it. The only piece that is from the original medi figure for certain are the boots. The hat even looks slightly different, though that could be the same as well. The original flintlock pistol from the first 3 movies and sword could be the same but I'd need to see more pics.
that Jacket is entirely new as well as the rest of the clothing. Nothing besides what I've stated above is a repeat of clothing. The clothing, including the belts, is entirely new.
The UU hands are also entirely different. the original medi hands had literally NO detail on them but the ones they've shown have detail in the rings, and "wrinkle" detail as well as better paint.

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I have a Medi jack and I can tell you it looks nothing like this. You seem to separate the head sculpt as if it's not part of the figure, it's the main part of the figure! Well certainly the most expensive part along with the base body. Of course I think this is too expensive, most UU releases are. But if you like it enough then it's worth whatever price you pay for it.

I don't think these clothes look as simplistic as previous medi Jacks.
If it wasn't for the headsculpt and detailing I might agree with you.

^^Exactly Rory. If anyting besides the headsculpt screams different, it's got to be the shirt or the jacket. Both look a lot better than the original medi figure

so i just found this really hi-res pic and 2 things stood out to me that I had not seen/noticed: 1) he comes with the chicken foot. and 2) if you look at the end tips of the hair, it looks like there are "real" pieces of hairs coming "undone" from the dreads

I think if this was cheaper, i'd buy it in a heart beat. Looks nicer to me than the Hot Toys one, but the HT one just looks like more bang for your buck.

If prices keep climbing with HT then pretty soon they will be on par with these prices!
