Yeah, I have to say, I'm not taken with Chris's head either.

Had Arnie had input with designing the DX would he not have stepped in where the hair was concerned? When he did Bruce for EB he developed everything from the ground up, even the BL body was his design. Now EB BL stuff isn't, you do know it.

That said, I loved their Respect Scarface enough to buy one so they aren't all bad.

But the portrait is fantastic but for the hair. I can't believe that manufacturing constraints posed by PERS and the like determined how the hair sculpt needed to be modeled, but other than 'Yulli completely stuffed it', what explanation is there? And nup, Arnie wasn't with HT when this was developed.

I think Arnie joined HT not long after the announcement of DX04

Imagine what a DX Bruce would have been like if he'd done all of it. Sadly we may never know.....

yes its a custom/recast/fake etc ETD A head.which i went for rather than just get a hairpiece.that way i can either mod the DX head or make another figure

Yeah, had I been looking for that head in particular, I would have gone with a seller known for doing really good ones. Yes, it might have cost more but, sometimes, for the satisfaction, it's worth it.

Didn't Arnie help Yulli with the tweaking of the battle damaged sculpt? Maybe it was a rumour I read in here

yeh i thought arnie helped with the re/do (the original BD) was really bad,but i thought the original ''normal'' head looked better than the official release..even the hairpieces looked better

Yeh, Arnie came on board HT once the DX had already been launched as a project, and likely he gave Yulli some pointers - but he was put to work on Supes and Indy. Pretty likely revisions of the DX sculpts would've happened anyway though.

The Bruce with the nunchucks reminds me of my original idea for my GOD bash. At the time, there was a BL3.5 up on eBay that had been modded to take HT heads. I was going to put the head you used on it and then get a cheaper GOD suit.

Then the RM-X came out and the rest, including a lot of wasted money, is history!
