until I see the eyes positioned like that pic of bruce in the GOD movie stills, Im still a bit skeptical.

The thing is the face looks a bit short, although its accurate to that pic, the camera sort of distorts and squats bruce's face a bit.

Plus the other normal headsculpt still needs a bit of tweaking.

But Im always a sucker for Bruce stuffs, so I might just get this, and whatever version HT is dishing us

but if the latest WOTD statue is any indication, chances are the final production piece would be quite off. I mean, I POed it as I still have faith for EB, but from looking at pics that Jengo posted, Im not that excited

You know I think YJ is the best sculptor on this planet

the paint apps, and also the recast that EB is making. I swear the sculpt that Arnie showed of the WOTD 1/4 statue, and that of final production piece looks like its sculpted by 2 different sculptor.

or maybe arnie's phase 1 sculpt, not the finalized sculpt. Still looks a bit raw and unfinished.

I can only go on the one figure I have from EB and it is sublime!!!

My Bauer is still one of my all time favourite figures! The sculpt is well amazing and the paint apps are just lovely but I have noticed alot of negative comments on recent releases regarding the casting and paint apps

Yep, I knew Hot Toys was not going to make it easy for Enterbay. Like I said earlier, Enterbay should be worried. Hot Toys is the leader, they now the Bruce License and the best Bruce sculptor.

I hope it's a Game of Death, but from the hair cut, it might be a Way of the Dragon.

Anyways, Enterbay has now to rethink how their figure is going to be priced.

The thing is Bruce is actually speaking English in that scene, but I think they added the audio in afterwards, that's why it's out of sync

hmmm...are you sure thats actually bruces voice?
I have this scene(minus some very minor bits...and I mean VERY) on the special edition of Enter the dragon and the voice is different.
The voice in the video you linked sounds like someone doing an impression of Bruce to me.

The FOREMOST authority on EVERYTHING Bruce Lee

I was intrigued just like others and being a HUGE BL fan was waiting to see how this release shapes up, I just convinced myself NOT to buy a Nokia GoD, but the rubber body issue is still keeping me wondering

How do you know the status of Reeve/Kim's work? How do you know he's bogged down? Concentrating on one thing? How do you know that one thing is being worked on, finished et., and that they are moving forward at the appropriate pace on their projects?

You, me and no one else on this fan-board has any idea of the inner working of HT and how they are handling anything so why post and ASSume such things?

WHOOPS!! My Bad I got mixed up while looking at the names of the DVD's It IS A Warrior's Journey Sorry for the mess up!

Also this whole Superman DX fans coming and complaining in this thread is bothersome... guys get a grip!! Im waiting for the Superman DX too but why assume about HT being delayed due to Arnie working on 'another' Bruce Lee. Respect the artist, he's doing us all a favour by doing the sculpt. Try pestering him and you'll get a Mattel quality sculpt. Arnie enjoys sculpting Bruce Lee, cant say the same about Christopher Reeve, though Im sure being the professional he is, his skill will shine through on that too But he IS THE BRUCE LEE SCULPTOR! Period

Also HT probably agreed to do the Superman CR cause they saw so many people were requesting it and the totally ridiculous clamour that happened when they announced who was DX04... man I still remember the furore it cause on every forum and Facebook!! It was laughable how delusional fans were!! HT NEVER gave ANY HINT pointing at Reeve's Superman and fans behaved like as if they had been promised something then cheated out of it... Some resorted to call Bruce Lee names!! It was THAT PATHETIC!

Well,you knew that once Arnie Kim jumped ship it would only be a matter of time before HotToys gets in the Game of Death with Enterbay.I wouldn't be surprised if Arnie has his 2 cents in the DX figure that they're currently working on.IMO if Enterbay's head sculpt rivals that of Hot Toys then the deciding factor will come down to the accessories and of course PRICE POINT!Either way it's going to be a good year for Bruce Lee fans!Maybe this is what Enterbay needs to get there balls rollin,stiff competition!This is what i think anyway!

I agree totally for all we know the proto is done and they're waiting for the right moment.It could be DC that's delaying the figure,who knows!Didn't this happen with Spiderman?Didn't they like announce that they aquired license about a year+ ago and we're finally just seeing PICS. of this figure and it won't be released till the 3rd quarter of 2011!GOOD things come to those who wait and i've been waiting for 30+ years for this what's a couple more.I think so anyway!
