Just for some clarification, I read somewhere in the last few pages that Arnie's smiling sculpt was 1/4 scale. Is that true?

the proto that we saw was a 1/4 scale. I guess hes been sculpting a 1/6 version also. Or possibly using a 3D scanner and make a 1/6 version of it.

Yes, this might be for HT's 1/4 busts ....

unless Arnie sculpts another 1/6 scale before officially announced by HT...

In fact it's the exact same photos that Arnie posted on his blog... 1/4 scale

Yeah I think we all assumed that HT was going to announce more BL figures and some of those would be sculpted by Arnie, but I never thought they would use that smiling sculpt. I assumed that that particular sculpt would go to Enterbay for an HD statue or bust.

Almost feels like theft.

the reason HT showed the smiling sculpt is just to annoy EB I think. Just a couple of days after EB announced their smiling sculpt, HT showed their's too. Its like a big "F" you in EB's face to me.

On one hand I'm happy that we're getting another rivalry match. It was great times when we were presented with a plethora of choices of Godfather or Batman Begins figures. Competition encourages quality.

But on the other hand I'm worried for Enterbay because Bruce Lee was their biggest money maker. Hot Toys has thrown down the gauntlet, and they look like they mean serious business now.

Chillax, it will take HT another year to probably even show Protos of the so called new Lee's they will make, long time left. Superman Christopher Reeve is a pet peeve of most people, as much as Im waiting for CR Superman, I really didnt like how lots of people who made their own decision tore themselves to pieces when DX04 was announced as Bruce Lee, some went on to say he wasnt as iconic...
I think the delay on Superman is because honestly it probably wasnt on HT's agenda, the massive fan uproar over DX04 probably made them think "ok, we'll make it, looks like it will sell", so they just released a pic

More Lee's, more Lee's that what I want atleast... I've never been happier by any HT announcement as much I am now. The last time I was so happy was probably when the unveiled who DX04 would be
