Well his prices are beyond crazy, and the first time I approached him, he didnt even reply but after some more queries he asked me if I had money to pay???? found that pretty insulting... anyway he showed me pics of his 'hoarded up BL's heard about him from some respected BL collectors... all of whom advised me not to deal with him simply because he lacks something called courtesy, genteel etc etc.

He never qouted a price but told me what he paid for them and asked me what could I expect the prices to be... that wat being talked down to due to asking for some figures and if they could be sold, I felt like Tupac being held for 'questioning'

I sincerely wish he can be happy with his boxes and boxes of EB BL's and take them to his grave.

yeah guess it's a common trait in the internet world....not angry or anything like that, but it wld be nice to have a courtesy heads-up once in a while since they're are using our efforts to hawk their stuff, wldn't wanna be mistakenly associated with these auctions when things go wrong too man.

About the arnie pieces,I have been strongly warned by some Arnie custom owners NOT to touch them, their origin according to them is questionable. by their observation: some of them have 'wrong clothing' and do not have a 'certificate of authenticity'... I dont want to take names of who divulged this but you can be rest assured that the source is a BIG SHOT Arnie handmade collector... I can PM you the name and his details so that you can verify it for yourselves..

There is one authentic Arnie from an UK seller at the moment... you can try that... and the price is pretty much what a handmade Arnie goes for.

dunno bout that yank..you get the long staff .nunchuks. darts.the box turns into a big diorma.take into consideration the nokia GOD which isnt that much cheaper comes with NADA
even ETD A/B only really came with an extra outfit when you think about it and the original GOD goes for REALLY stupid money

Yes... its box material... but for me the headsculpt is too wierd/bad looking compared to the other BL's to warrant a purchase

Aw, a cardboard backdrop doesn't impress And I'm with you on the sculpt. Lastly, the WOtD suit is very basic and can be had cheap via customs, and looks just as good w/ good quality. The bad likeness sculpt, nunchuks, darts, cardboard display doesn't warrant 400+ or even 299+ for me personally.

I'll probably end up trying to do a custom WOtD exaclty like Ahgnus' with the Kato head and WOtD hair. That will drive me bat ___ crazy not having the official EB BL WOtD but these things happen

I was pretty OCD like you when it came to 'official release' etc etc, but after sometime you realise that putting money on an impulse comes back and bothers us tooo much... I mean as much as we can justify the spending, not being 100% satisfied with the figure always bothers us inside...
something like an unresolved tiff with a girl friend, she behaves normal/jovial the next day... but she makes sure you realise that something is 'off'

Very true, I think it's time I get over it lol. Landing a Kato sculpt to do the WOtD mod is going to be near impossible, unless we can somehow beg ahgnus to start casting them like he did for the EB GOD BTS heads

However personally Id still gowith the FoF calm sculpt as the mod for the face... the Kato sculpt is too young... during WoTD Bruce was already a gnarled man... those chubby jowls just wont go with the Bruce of WoTD... might I remind you Arnie did the same with his own WoTD which goes to show that the man himself wasnt happy how his WoTD turned out...

All he did was use the FoF calm face and modded the WotD hairpiece like I advised some pages back and fit it on here are pics, Im sure you've seen them before:
