came home from work and the figure was sitting on the floor in the living room. This thing looks great, really good details and all. Only real prob is the looseness of the joints, the arms on mine hold up alright but they could be tighter.

I think all or mostly all of the Obis are being shipped with the arm armor on backwards. I've noticed a lot of pictures the armor is on wrong.

for me one was one way while the other was the right way. I had them both fixed but moving it around it swapped back up again

Hope to have mine tomorrow. Trying to decide what pose to put him in. And I would positively buy any Obi-Wan SSC releases. Qui-Gon needs a padawan. Can't wait for (hopefully) a Trevor Grove EP2 Anakin and Obi-Wan.

Heck of a nice batch of photos Josh! The figure looks like it turned out great!

love that holo clone!

Thank ya sir!!

Very basice recipe I'm using.

Sideshow ROTS Obi-Wan - Tunic and robe
Sideshow Plo Koon under^^^^
Hot Toys True Type body
Hasbro AOTC Obi-Wan - Pants and boots

Shirt colors aren't quite dead right, but the overall look of the figure is looking sharp.

Sweet!! May have to make one.

I got my regular edition from DSC today. Seems very quick, considering Sideshow only started shipping the exclusives not long ago. He's a very impressive figure. My only complaint is the weathered belt. Aside from that, he's more or less perfect.

I guess the bicep armor is smooth in front, with the indentation facing backwards. I would think the opposite, but I guess it is supposed to mimic the line of the triceps?

I think that's the case, that it's partly to mimic the musculature of the human body, like the pecs on the chest plate. I like how in the new CW series, Obi-Wan's armor has like a piece off the forearm and a slot in the back bicep where it locks in like a puzzle piece, as though the armor with the arm fully straight could lock together into one piece.

Exactly. We should probably call it tricep armor.

Yea, the bicep armor. It's technically supposed to be smooth on the front, but I like it much better with the grooved side facing forward. I've tried it both ways, and the arms seem to pose much better that way. It also looks more natural to me.

Not to stir anything up, but am I the only person who's having a hard time seeing Ewan MacGregor in the sculpt? *runs and hides*

Got my General today! He is great. My joints don't feel loose at all. Not super tight, but not as loose as I was expecting. I simply love him and want to say thanks to Trevor Grove for the fantastic j
