well crap. i canceled the figure early this week because i had a fear of the joints and clunky armor. i really regret it now seeing these pictures. i got on the wait list for the exclusive earlier today, but does anyone know what the chance are of getting converted this late in the game????? plus if i do get converted like a month from now does that mean i will be getting someones figure that they returned. i dont really want one that has been opened or has been broken.

Chances aren't good for the ex wait list. They have sent letters out telling people to get on the reg wait list since they don't anticipate any becoming available.

Hard to say... a decent amount of conversions happen through cancelations and declined credit cards. You may still be able to get an exclusive through them, but you might also be able to just by one later on for around the same price from the secondary market.

But always good to remember, don't cancel unless you are really sure. Sideshow has a pretty liberal return policy so sometimes its better to see it in hand than cancel early.

I Got My General Kenobi in today. Pretty please with him. I do hope that the Armor fitting is better for the other troopers and that they do tighten up the joints. Also I hope they improve the body suit going foward, but that is not as critical as the other issues since you only see very little of the body suit.The Headsculpt and paint is very good. Well here is a pic of the growing line of Obi Wan figures in my collection:

Yeah I definetly would. Id also get a TPM Obi if they made him.
One thing I loved about sideshow since I started collecting them was how great the Jedi outfits were done in 1/6 scale. So the more Jedi's the better.

I'm holding out for SSC TPM, proper accessories and all. If nothing else, i'd like to see SSC TPM and AOTC Obi-Wan before the line dies, I'm a huge Obi-Wan fan and I want every film represented by them.

i think the others are too tall for a kenobi.

I also think it's due to his pose in that shot (his knees appear to be bent quite a bit - probably due to the looseness of the joints). I'm sure the stand is the only thing holding him up. Very cool Obi colletion you've got there, Roc74. I hope SS will do a TPM & ATOC Obi someday to complete the Obi lifespan.

Yeah, Smudger9 is right. If he was standing up, he looks like he'd be the same height of the others. But I suspect that was a quirky comment in reference to Leia's remark in Star Wars...

Well Its a combo of me posing him with his knees bent and and the Fact the ROTS OBI is taller (well actually due to a fatter head) then all the other Obi's. When I straighten General Obi up, he is the same height as Old Ben.
