Wow. Trevor has Obi-Wan down pat, no matter the trilogy. I'd love for SS to find an excuse to have him do an ROTS headsculpt.

Shin armor being slightly tighter would have been a big improvement. Hope its addressed in future figures, although might not be able to fix it before Utapau.

so many possibilities with this sculpt. looks awesome. thinking i might do this to the head with another one for a better ROTS

I Got My General Kenobi in today. Pretty please with him. I do hope that the Armor fitting is better for the other troopers and that they do tighten up the joints. Also I hope they improve the body suit going foward, but that is not as critical as the other issues since you only see very little of the body suit. The Headsculpt and paint is very good. Well here is a pic of the growing line of Obi Wan figures in my collection:

Amazing pic!!
Maybe I'll pick up the head-sculpt and bash it into an episode II Obi Wan...

Gotta wait til friday til he shows up here....no foliage left by then, but I'll see what I can come up with :)

Looking forward to your shots, Sean...

It's insane how quick they're coming down this year, definitely beat the clock with your camera. I was VERY lucky yesterday. I arranged to take some engagement photos for a former co-worker and there were some nice spots still, but if the weather hadn't been nice and we had to wait until next weekend, I fear we'd have lost the foliage.

Interesting you say that...I actually have noticed our foliage season being a bit longer and MORE colorful than it has been for the last few years...by several weeks in fact. But it doesn't take but a few hundred miles to make a huge difference...just driving around Vermont and northeastern NY last weekend, it was apparent how different it was depending on the area.

One thing that will still be in abundance next week is the amazing crisp afternoon light the low sun brings...that and the way that light plays on the unique rock/slate landscape around me which should provide some interesting backdrops for General Kenobi...

Ya, the natural light right around this time of year is fantastic.

Walking around yesterday, it seemed apparent the only trees with good color in MA this year are ones high above the rest getting good does of sun, or these small things, but overall very dull colors this year, good colors are a diamond in the rough. Someday I want to take a Vermont weekend during the fall, definitely want some company though so if the leaves aren't great in the areas I go, the trip's not a total bust.

I think your Kenobi stuff will look better with the barren fall look, good lighting and battle worn backdrop.

I'm sure I will, was watching AOTC before bed last night, the early scene in Padme's appartment, studying Ewan's face, thinking about the figure, Trev and SSC have made me very happy with the portrait alone.

Now, if tomorrow can also be a celebration of my Sox getting into the World Series again, it'll be one sweet day :D

Its a great likeness... I definitely think it is one of Sideshows best. Hard to say which is Tevor's best since they are all stunning, but this one is tops. I think something in particular about the expression really captures Kenobi.

I think it's the look in the eyes, it captures how Kenobi always went around like he felt he had to step up for right in every situation, calculating and trying to figure out how he could better matters, once AOTC kicked in anyway and he became a Jedi master. Ewan did a great job of growing him from a semi-cocky padawan to a very disciplined Master.
