Here's my take on the AOTC Obi-Wan Kenobi. First and foremost, thanks to Maulfan for the recipe! Only thing I did differently is I used the undershirt from the Hasbro AOTC Obi-Wan. And thanks to Trevor Grove for the greatest sculpt of the greatest Jedi ever! I've never purchased two of the same SS figure before, but the Ewan MacGregor likeness was too perfect and as much as I love the Clone armor version, I had to have him as he appeared in the movie.

Sorry for the blurry pics, this camera really blows. But yeah, this version just blows ROTS Kenobi outta the water. Still love that figure, but this sculpt is perfection.

Very well done. I hope Sideshow comes out soon with a PF of this version of Obi. Sadly, with the Leia PF just coming, I don't see that happening in the near future.

Why not ? They did revisit the Bond figures with new clothing etc so why not an exisiting Star Wars headsculpt ? I'd like to see the hair changed though . It is more of an AOTC / ROTS hybrid than a straight AOTC style.

That's perfect bro!! I love the way he looks in this pic, just like in the movie! Definitley one of SS's best sculpts. Did you use the water treatment on his robe? It looks great. Thanks for sharing!!

No water treatment. I know, for some reason this particular robe came perfect out of the box. Or the sculpt on the head is so good Obi-Wan used the force to make it perfect. Either way, I'm not complaining.

Nicely done. I considered using the AOTC shirt for the color, but that undershirt is my biggest gripe with AOTC Jedi from Hasbro. Cool that they stepped up from TPM so they had sleeves under the tunic as they should, but the half shirt that wouldn't tuck in was a pain, often made the figure look lesser. I was so happy when I first got ROTS Anakin from Sideshow and saw they'd be using full length undershirts you could tuck in and make them look good.

Yeah, I would have but I don't have an extra undershirt. It works for the time being, but I do plan on upgrading in the future. Thanks BTW for the recipe. Was really helpful.

I think there was only one Hasbro AOTC Obi-Wan released. It was in the first wave of 12" figures released for AOTC.
