I don't know why I took these...I really don't.

I'm still waiting for my Obi. Some great pictures I saw here. I saw some of Obi wearing a clone helmet too. It looks cool, but why would General Obi Wan wear a helmet? Why would any one of the Jedi generals wear a helmet? I don't see the point. Never saw them do that in 'the Clone Wars' cartoon or comic. I haven't seen the animated version of 'the Clone Wars' yet. Do the Jedi generals wear helmets in that one?

Actually, Kenobi wore a Clone helmet initially in the Cartoon Network series and then Durge knocked it off and it's actually a cool shot as Kenobi wipes his face from getting smacked as the helmet's knocked off. I think the intent was to diguise that he was a Jedi, or for protection.

Yes, you're right. I found the scene here:

Completely forgot about this (rather ridiculous) knight-joust scene. But... disguise? Perhaps. Amongst all those clones, Obi sticks out anyway wearing the tunic. Even if Durge didn't know it was Kenobi underneath the helmet, he knew there was something about that "clone". But yes, my initial question is answered. He wore a helmet. Most likely because the makers of the flick found it to be cool, or for protection as you suggest.

That's the one thing with CW, a lot of times things are done just because people think it'd be cool.

According to Wikipedia, it's for protection, which is good, because being hit in the face hard enough to knock a helmet off when you aren't wearing one...well, you're not gonna be winning any beauty contests...

it was just done cause the prob thought it would be cool to have it knocked off so ONI could give durge the "mother ------" look

Similar material to past releases... the hands are a bit rubbery so you can bend them a bit to fit in the accessories. Although not sure if the white part is ABS, I would assume its all one piece.

My obi finally came yesterday shipped with Gandalf...what awesome figures both of these are.Soz for the crap pics, but i was too excited last night and i couldnt wait til the sun came out,LOL...more pics when the rain goes away ;)
