I got my replacment just a couple of hours ago.
The problems I had with mine was his left arm was very lose, his right sword grip hand broke, and he had a tear in his body suit.
His right arm is a little stiffer then my first one, but now his left leg is looser. :lol
I display mine on stands so it doesn't matter much.

Unfortunately, the face paint on my first one was absolutely perfect, this time he looks like he's wearing too much brown mascara under his eyes.
:banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead
I'll just have to live with it, I don't want to try and send it back again.

I have far too many toys to shoot to do that any more.

I can understand it for 12" figures since they're all basically the same, but it's missed on some of the smaller figures like the DCD 7" figures and the like that really differ from one figure to the next.
Sometimes I decide not to buy a figure based on how much or little articulation it has.

Great pictures, everyone. I also like the photo archive, D. Martin. As much as I would like the exclusive, I figure my chances are non-existent. It looks like I'll be tracking down the regular edition.

Best quality pics i've seen so far. (tk world, hk 501st)

Bump from the dead. DAMN! I FORGOT ABOUT THESE.(Sorry for the necropost about to finally own this and was looking at pics.) Where can i get one of those helmets?

Krayt,

WOW those are awesome How did you do the weathering? That is the one thng that I think alot of my figures need. It adds so much.

THANKS alot

For those that have both... Are the joints as loose as the hobbits or worse? Cause to be honest i didn't find the hobbits that horrible at all. But i've been reading both threads and trying to make a decision, and i'm reading on some the arms are even barely strong enough to hold the rex holo up. My hobbits are nowhere near that. Does the suit come off; are you able to tighten the body at all?

I didn't have any issues with either of mine. Worst case scenario, you can pop off the clothes and tighten the body's pieces like the Pro. The back is like a TT so you'll need to remove the little plugs to gain access to the screws though but seeing as how he's dressed in a body suit and none of it shows, it's a non-issue.

I heard the suit don't come off, am i misinformed? So you would not use glue to tighten (i know nothing of the pro) you can tighten knees/ankles and arms with screws?

It's the only thing holding me back

the breastplate was not designed to be removed ( stupid idea on sideshows part) the same with the lower torso armor. you CAN take it off, but it requires some work. Call you anxiety and ask them to explain how they do it, it's pretty easy.

The belt, chest plate and pelvic armor are all glued. So you'll need to separate them (on one side) and take them off to get access to the suit which, after removing the head and neck, folds up over the shoulders via a flap on the back. Then it's just a matter of pulling it down, off the armored body (for easier reassembly, pop the neckpiece into the suit before putting it back on the body). Once done, there are plastic plugs that are glued over the sockets (like a TrueType). Pop those out and you'll have access to the screws for the various segments/parts of the armored body. Then just eyeball the tightening until you get it stiff enough to hold the poses you're looking for. Any brand of superglue will do to get the armored pieces back together. The ankles are the only things that you can't tighten via the screws but using the superglue method on those (if they're even loose - both mine are fine) works wonders. A dab'll do ya or you can coat the inner parts with clear nail polish to achieve the same goal. Recoat until stiff.

UGH. I don't wanna have to pull crap apart. I guess if i decide to bite i'll hope mine are "tight" enough.

I'm getting an offer for 75$ shipped. Is this worth it with the loose joints for that price? (again if it's like the hobbits i won't be bothered by it, but if worse i will)

Mine was pretty tight. I think $75 is a fair price and if you don't like it you shouldn't have much of a problem selling it again with recoup of cost.
