Wow, he got the armor off and back on, wonder how much work that took, didn't seem like removal would be possible without use of glue and such.

Dig those shots, though the brown wash on the face is a bit strong. The robes look much better with weathering.

This is one of the better shots!

:clap

How did he remove the jumpsuit? It looks like one piece to me. Also, what did he add on the tops of the boot feet above the strap?

Kenobi landed on my front door, today... I set up the tripod but didn't get too creative with the photos...

Well it is a foreign word and it can't be pronounced like "abode" anyway - darn English! Strangely enough the right pronunciation actually does rhyme with Kenobi. But it's a messed up language anyways at times. I will never understand how adding an "s" to "laughter" can make the word "slaughter." Ridiculous. :lol

Anyway, once I save enough I'm totally gonna make that Episode II Obi-Wan. I think it's his best look from any of the films, and after seeing MaulFan's custom there's no way I can turn down the chance to make one of my own!

What little I know about Old English suggests that both words were pronounced the same originally, but each has evolved and mutated in pronunciation over the years to the extent that they sound nothing alike. The "gh" was produced at the back of the throat, kind of like hacking up a furball, but softer and more breathy. These days, for instance, "slaughter" is pronounced "slotter." Back then, the "gh" was actually audible.

I wonder how the weathering on the armor was accomplished. I would think just trying to use a wash on the armor would not work, since I don't think it would stick to the plastic well. Some of it may just be black drybrushing, but the area on the wrists looks like a wash of some kind was used.

It looks way better this way in my opinion.

Create a new layer, use the straight edge to draw a white saber... then go into the layer effects and use a light blue outer glow and a very light blue inner glow... it's fast and easy, and looks pretty darn good.

That's pretty interesting. The default body seemed so thin, I didn't think the bodysuit and armor would fit that well on an HT TrueType, but it does.
