I remember thinking how flat the Mark 2 Stark face and Harvey Dent looked in photos.

They look much better in person and Harvey looks very real.

It seems to be this new material they are using.

Isn't it a little early to start the panicking? I swear we go through this every time we get new pictures of a production figure from just one source. Plus we all know these things always look better in person than in online photos.

HT has proven with John Connor that if the paint isn't up to their standards they will fix them. So I'm not worried here. The first two Iron Mans were great and I have no doubts this will be too.

The Stark head looks a little odd in some pictures, but is not an issue for me as I had no plans of displaying him with the open helmet.

i agree that it's too early to start all the doomsaying and whining.

if it was any other company, i wouldn't be as confident. but hot toys has higher standards and even when they screw up (eg: john connor) they do make it a point to fix it.

having said that, i WOULD be pissed if, after making us wait so long, the mark1 doesn't look good...

It s really not a long wait at all by industry standards, especially for a piece as complicated as this.Announced on September 20th,and delivered now. That would ve been acceptable 20 years ago.It s just our own anticipation and longing that make us feel like it is.The Tumbler,on the other hand.....:lol

Well, we'll find out soon enough, I should have mine in a week or so....by next Monday I would imagine from past experience. I am not about to panic at all, even if they paint is not up to prototype standards...and let's face it, it rarely is with the majority of products previewed...I'm sure this figure will turn out just fine.

For this one, the Tony's head continues to look worst than the prototype. But the painting of the armor looks more fine. The green plate in the front is not so green, it is more delicate. Well, I guess the Quality Control didn't work well. Some people will receive good ones and others bad ones.

So far, the details in the sculpt really impress me...not so much in the head sculpt (although, reviewing MC's review of the TS suit, it looks consistent with their previous head sculpts), but in the suit itself, which IMHO on this figure is the most important. The weathering in the different plates of the armor, all the various motors, pulleys, gears, belts, hoses, crude heart battery, etc, really look very cool.

Just 1 question guys, does the armour include truetype body? Coz I read this from Hot Toys website:

(Note: Mark 1 armor and figure body are inseparate)

Or do we have to purchase a truetype body to be put inside the armour?

Any explanations???
