Was it me or did yours also twist to the right after the instructions said to turn to the left? I do think they came up with a creative way to hide the batteries though. What a great piece.

Still, you wouldn't be able to use any of the giftcards. GCs can only be used on select older product.

hey quick question for those that have this masterpiece...just got mine today and i love it, however, is there a trick to keeping the lights on once you press the button? i press mine and you have to hold it for it to stay on...im hoping mines not defective or something...thanks!!

there might be something wrong with the button on yours, dude.
it's supposed to stay on once it's pressed. the button will sink in when it's on and pop back out when it's off.

Like tylerdurden said. Maybe you aren't pushing it in all the way to get it to click into the on position. It should pop back out but not all the way, when in the on position.
