...is this gun, which funnily , the guns should be reversed from v1 to v2 for the costumes.

And the display base is the upper body of a T-600 banged up on the ground.

I too noticed the gun reversal. JC starts with an HK416 - which looks very similar to an M4, and is basically Heckler & Koch's version with some key improvements. He later switches to a regular M4 with XM26 shotgun (in the pic). There currently are no 1/6 HK416's, but Soldier Story is releasing one this month with its latest modern military fig. I presume HT went with the M4 given that they've previously released M4/XM26 both with a figure and as part of a weapon set. I'm looking forward to JC v2 and HT's take on the 416, which likely wont be as detailed (or fragile) as Soldier Story's.

The alternate gun looked good, though the flashlight was a bit lower, almost looking below the gun barrel instead of more parallel to it, but that was an early proto, official images may not even look anything like what's in the leaked photos, which is why they have to be removed.

The Connor V2 Figure looks pretty good, but unless you are a die-hard fan of the movie, I would be pretty happy just to own the V1.

I'm not a die hard fan of T:S, but I'm a die hard Terminator fan and really liked Bale as Connor, I like the different gear included with the v2, but at this point, it's whether it comes with a scarred portrait that'll mean the difference between me getting this one too or sticking with just the first.

Yeah I really only need one Connor as do I only need one Iron Man or 1 Joker.

I'll for sure get the v2.0. and anything else they decide to make, I love Terminator anything. (I'm not too keen on my ss t2 Arnold though, after seeing all the great customs here ie: xenoviper etc.)

Yeah, I like Bale as Connor in HT form. Fig looks sweet!

Do take into consideration though, that there are still 2 more terminator installments yet to come. And Connor (Bale) would then be already scarred through out. My spider sense tells me that we would get at the very least 2-3 more scarred connors (with one of them, prolly the last one, a DX) fig from both upcoming sequels. And this is the only one that's different enough, with a normal, clean face that shows the transition from a soldier to a leader of the resistance. Sort of like a Batman Begins, to me.

Thing is, for me, it's not so much that he be scarred, but the fresh scars of T:S. Healed scars will look ok, but I think a figure depicting his fresh wounds from T:S with the charring and bloody look to it would be really cool. Post T:S scarring will look like he did in T2 in the future and I don't carea bout that.

Indeed, now that we know there's a scarred portrait, this is a completely different figure, unless it includes a clean one (and better looking that the first clean one) I don't see this as making people feel they picked wrong getting the first one unless they like this costume better, in which case I wonder why would you even get the first one if you didn't like the costume as much.

Mh, yeah... but that's not fair from HT. Why don't they show us a list of the upcoming figures for one year or so. With that I could decide to wait buying V2 or V1. This is horrid, can't choose If I should wait or not. Now I've bought V1, but when V2 blows him away, I'm really pissed off! man, man, man...

Jesus this is becoming the new AVP of HT figures.
Based on an old 80's and 90's movie which has just been rebooted with too modern sequels which are not as good as the original and have about six or seven figures looking similar or almost the same.

i really love the first outfit. but i'm just afraid, that v2 is looking way better. I'll definatly pick the scarred face from ebay, but it just sucks! I would like to have something to decide which version I want to buy. Is it Connor in the brown leather jacket or in the black swat suit. Should I always wait now for a better or second version of a character from HT to decide which I want? And that's not only with Connor...

They don't tell people because 1) you never know when something will be ready and approved, 2) it's a poor business practice to give options, they make a lot of money on people buying a first and then buying the second because they didn't know of the second up front, you sell 2 figures to people instead of one, if people had the options, they'd probably just pick one or the other and then HT only sells 1.
