Man, I thought Indiana Jones was going to be my most anticipated (to have on my shelf) this year, but this has knocked that down a notch! Man, that is a beautiful figure right there. I dont care what the naysayers say.

This and the Sweeney Todd figure are my now most anticipated...

Anyone else think it was a bad move releasing this before Sweeney Todd? Had they released Sweeney first I'd have POed that, but getting this first with the price tag it made that an easier pass. Sweeney looks great, though, but I think this sculpt is a tad-bit more accurate.

Now hopefully this whole second face fiasco gets resolved quickly, and they re-release it in the specs. I'm just curious to see if any tweaks were made to it or not.

The details of the costume alone make this piece a work of art

I don't know if there's a wire in it, or if the material just lays better, but I really like how the sash came out on this one, that was one of the more challenging pieces on the old Jack's to futz, especially cuz the fabric had no weight to it.

Couldn't pass this up. I missed out on the first HT release of Jack Sparrow and was disappointed. I always wanted to add his likeness to my collection, but the price second-hand ont he first release was a little inflated for my taste. So I'm glad this has come along, and looks to be superior to the first release.

Pre-ordered from SSC, and had $165 in reward points, so this guy is only gonna cost me $75. Not a bad deal if I do say so.. ;-)
