Guardian's hair seems to puff out more on one side than on the other - kinda silly looking. Not sure how that gets approved...

What's funny is, you have NECA looking like T2, Hot Toys looks like something just completely made up and not at all like the movie, and yet, it doesn't seem like that complicated a hairstyle. It's similar to T2 but the NECA figure looks like they took the T2 sculpt and aged the face mostly.

It seems no one can get it right. It's not a bad figure though much nicer than I thought it would be.

Other than the hair I think it looks great and the prototype looked like his face was melting more than being older, the final figure actually looks good in this regard, it's clearly not Arnie in his prime.

for those of you who were wondering if he can sit on the bike..
I just swapped ultimate's torso with the pescadero torso, to have a movie accurate look on the bike

Got the Genisys wave 1 today. They're pretty good figures, the QC seems fine - I don't feel like the joints are going to break and the paint apps aren't bad at all.

The Guardian's hair does puff out more on one side than the other but it seems to be less noticeable in person. For some reason it photographs badly making his head look deformed but the figure overall is very solid, literally and otherwise. NECA, as always, have done a good job of capturing Arnie's silhouette - I very much see his 'old man' build here. It only loses points for not encompassing as much as it could based on the movie - no BD head or switch-out endo-forearm. And since the line is apparently going to be limited to the 3 figures we've seen these details won't be coming with a later figure.

The T-1000 is likewise pretty good. The likeness seems decent although I haven't spent years looking at this actor. They've done a reasonable job of making this one inclusive of various movie-based possibilities with a a BD torso and head and his throwing spear. I guess the biggest downer about this figure is that as it's another cop uniform he looks very similar to the T2 version AND he doesn't actually face off against the Guardian T-800 in the movie. His interactions are with Sarah and Reese, figures of whom are not going to be made. So it feels like we've got two pretty unrelated figures here.

I guess you could use your imagination and display Guardian facing off against a T1 Tech Noir T-800 figure - and that could have been movie accurate if only they'd have let him get his punk clothes in the movie. I guess not even a CGI bad-guy Arnold was allowed kill anyone. ''Not even off screen?'' 'Look we just really wanted to have Arnie say ''you won't be needing any clothes'''. Oh, I see.

Lads, the bike in question is a Harley Davidson Fatboy FLSTF, Black color, 1:10 Scale, brand Maisto.
Year is 1996 or 1999 I don't exactly remember
Happy hunting guys! :lol
In before everyone is posing their ultimate T800s in a bike lol

Doesn't look like they can be got at the moment. There's one reasonable match but it's the wrong colour and I'm not one for painting.

Yeah I got mine a couple of years ago, there were several available.
I actually did a custom just like this guy, because there was no Ultimate T800 with articulated legs:

Oh and the bike is model 1999

The only innaccuracies on the bike are the missing Saddlebags, and it shouldn't have the front lights (the ones below the handlebars). I'm thinking on cutting those off, and also purchasing a different bike with saddlebags just to remove them and put them on the fatboy.

Edit: this is the actual bike used in the movie :wink1:

will be getting the ultimate T2 next week hopefully

There are a few versions of that bike. Mine's a 2002. 1:10 is the scale I got. Picked it up at TRU. Wish I'd picked up a couple more. They were on sale for a couple of bucks.
