Sith Lord 0498 said:Yeah, it does, so you have to be careful. Working partially off of instructions posted by VennyStar over on Rebelscum, I used a Q-Tip to apply the remover to the lips. It takes that paint right off without touching the skin color. However, if you press down even the slightest bit too hard, you'll start taking off the skin tone paint too and reveal the black underneath it all. I ran into that problem but it was minimal and I caught it in time.
Thank you. I appreciate that...especially in light of all the great repaints I've seen in this thread so far. But I think I'll leave well enough alone. The lips were a nerve-wracking experience because I came dangerously close to ruining the whole face.
Perhaps if I can find detailed, easy-to-follow instructions, I may alter the eyebrows and hair color, but I won't remove any paint again with nail polish remover. Too tricky and too dangerous.

Magnuz said:Taking pictures of anakin where you can see his face and theres not either to much light or to much shadow has been quite the pain for me. I take alot of pictures of various toys and its one of the things i enjoy doing most, but its usually of 6" figures, so his large size doesnt cope well with my lighting setup, but this is the best i've managed that shows the detail and is fairly close to how he looks in person, hairs darker in the picture, dont know why, but whatever.
Magnuz said:Looks great. I originally was just gonna repaint those brown lips, cause i really didn't want to try and repaint the whole face and then somehow f' it up, cause im not fond of repainting faces. Alas though i didn't like the odd tan look of the skin and after i did the lips i wanted his skin tone more natural. So i gave it a shot, his larger scale helps compared to the 6 inch customs im accustomed to doing. He came out better than expected so i kinda lucked out on it working the way i wanted. The lips were the one thing that held me from getting him right away, after i saw other repaints on here, like the one by Les, i ran out and got him and new that either if i did it or had someone else do it, repainting his face would make him fine.

I like the last one a bunch.
