That's not what I meant exactly. We see an egg, facehugger (dead and alive), Ripley having chest pains/fatigue, see the embryo in Ripley, we get it. I think you're one of the only ones to be upset about the size of the egg.. And I don't see how you could think the egg was half the size of a normal one without taking time out to analyze it. If it was the size of a chicken egg, people would notice and it would be ridiculous..but it wasn't. Might have been a bit inaccurate, but you understand what happens if you watch the film..so it's not that big of a deal.
I don't see how they're far more important parts of the film. The story was about Ripley and the prisoners trying to kill the alien, and get off the planet with the WY ship.
An important part of the movie is them discovering a place to trap the alien until the WY ship arrives. Then you don't see/hear anything about that again.

It makes no sense. It's a big part of the story, they're going to trap the alien..then the trapping the alien part is completely skipped over.
It'd be like Ripley losing Newt, she decides to go get her..Then it skips to Ripley running away from the Queen to the Dropship, with no Newt..
I don't understand why it all has to be specifically explained to the viewers, either.
Nothing too extremely odd occured.
Uhm, in Alien we have a VERY different looking creature than in Aliens. So now they have no dome, they're part of a hive..what happened here? Why did they not have a dome? That wasn't explained in the film. The original alien had a dome, and other small differences. Movie ruined.
How can you accept somthing like that, but can't accept the issues with Alien 3?
Just doesn't seem like that big of a deal, especially when there are tons of other small inconsistencies throughout the franchise.
