Anyone else read the article in Empire magazine? It was quite revealing; I feel almost as if I now know more than I wanted to.
Great stuff from what I can tell. I think we'll definitely be pleased.


I'm trying to decide right now if I want to watch this in 3D. It was shot as such, so that's good to know, but... I don't know, I think I'd be more than pleased with the 2D version. This won't be like Avatar where the movie is practically hinged on the 3D being good. Prometheus can stand well enough on its own.

Based on my experience, no 3D. But if you like 3D..i'd say both.

I'd definitely go the safe route and see it in 2D for the first viewing though..

I've managed to stay away from stuff like this and stopped reading AVP Galaxy so I can go into the film with a half blank mind atleast in the hope of being wowed by the film.

Indeed. "Engineers" reminds me a it of the original score for ALIEN. It doesn't sound similar, but its equally as creepy.

Did you the Prometheus trailer in IMAX 3D? It looks spectacular compared to the Avengers, which was not filmed in 3D.

I wasn't actually impressed with Avatar in 3d IMAX. The visuals are amazing but the 3d just irritates me. I don't really care if things float out of the screen , I'd rather the image be crystal clear HD and 2d.
