Awesome pics Maulfan!

Vader looks very beautiful.

But... I'll just go right out and say it: the dome/helmet looks too small. I sadi from the beginning and it's still the same. Looks way too small. I can see that from certain angles it looks good, but from straight on it looks too small. Oh well.

Still, can't wait to get mine!

I'd say its just the superior height difference that is a noticeable advantage over Medi's. The helmet is off from certain angles. You boys got ^^^^ in your eyes if you say otherwise...

Wait, my mistake... he is on the buck, but I just stuck him next to Han and Luke and he's actually the same height as Luke. So I'm guessing the short male body, not the regular.

Never noticed that before.

This figure is incredible! It looks to be worth the wait and then some. The scale is fantastic and I can't wait to have him towering over my other Sideshow Star Wars figures.

That said, I have to side with the "dome is too small" crowd. In an effort to satisfy my own curiosity, I did a little Photoshop tweak (widened and lengthened the dome only; the face is untouched) and, while not perfect, I think it really improves on the already awesome sculpt. Hopefully they rework this element for future Vaders.

The current helmet dimensions are certainly not a deal breaker. This is easily Sideshow's finest 1:6 figure and will be difficult for them to top!:chew
