He already did in his Vaderville thread. Basically said that he has the same issues as most people but he thinks its great and has a loit of "possibilities". :D

thanks pix..........gonna check his thread, havent been to vaderville in a while.......need to see how the mayor's doing...:D

MaulFan, Thanks for the incredible pics! The figure looks awesome! Any chance of seeing him striped down, showing the body?

He looks great, well done Shaun, outstanding pics of what looks like a figure that could redefine how Sideshow stand in the 1/6th world (s'bout bleedin time!).
Sorry to ask if this has been asked/answered before, but are the lenses opaque perspex inserted from behind or just painted?

Cheers for all the great photos again.

One of Sidehow's best this year for sure. You can tell they put a lot of efforts in their Vader.

The lenses are painted.

As far as I can see, the head consists of 3 pieces, 2 halves to the mask and then the dome.

Not saying this in a snarky way... but I am happy I'm not aware of some of these helmet issues. I know a bit (mostly from this board) but when I see these images (except for a few were the angle made his head look small) I'm not seeing any issues.

Blissfully ignorant :angelsmil

I'm the same way and thankful for it.

They must had used various domes with different finnishes on them..hell even the dome worn in his Tie Fighter looks to have no widows peak at all and a matte finish.

Thats actually the same helmet in those scenes. The Tantive IV scenes were the last to be shot. There is a widows peak on the dome in the Tie fighter sequences, the helmet just sits further back off the face. The finish was more of a satin, with dulling spray having been used to lose the sheen.

I'm in the same boat. I'm not a casual fan by any stretch, but I wasn't really all that aware of the differences in costumes among the films, other than the really obvious ones. The same holds true for the Stormtrooper.

Anyway, I did a little reshearch on this site though and I see what everyone is talking about. I'd say it looks like they nailed the face mask part 100%, but the dome doesn't look exactly like the ANH helmet. It kind of looks more like the ROTS helmet in some shots. I'm sure LFL had some input on this, so that is probably why. Still, it doesn't matter to me in the slightest...Vader looks amazing and I can't wait to get mine!

Is the fig back left the '97 oven mitts Vader from Hasbro...:lol

My God I had all of those..except the true Vader fig in the back...still waiting for his arrival.... :monkey5
