The dome on that Hasbro Vader (on the left) doesn't look half bad in that pic...

And call me a romantic, but Medi-Vader still looks beautiful to me.

Sadly, the 1995 Kenner is the oldest I have, I wish I had the Vintage one, saw a few times at conventions but always missing the cape and I wasn't paying what the dealers wanted without all the gear.

Congrats Maulfan and thanks for all the pics. I can't wait to get my Vader. I have the 78 Vader and a comparison pic based on anything other than height, would be laughable.

Anyone know the name of the officer standing next to vader in that ANH Vader/Leia pic? Just curious...

I'll have pics in a little bit, but standing figures next to Vader, Antilles and Leia both seem about 1/4 inch too short to really match up well in height to Vader.

I'll show some full pictures with his cape open, someone threw out the idea before of using this body for Chewbacca, not going to work in my book, at least the torso, he has a good, muscular looking build like Prowse, nowhere near lanky looking enough to be Chewie. Height's good for Chewie, but not the body structure.

It does look too narrow...the Medi Vader looks like the helmet is as wide or wider than the SSC Vader
