I'm gonna sell my vader maybe next week. how much do you guys think is the best price to sell him? Im thinking of selling him for $210 shipping included. I went on ebay and the cheapest price i saw for this bad boy was 210.

Arnold was 6'2" back in his competitive bodybuilding days. Now in his mid-60s, I'm sure he's barely breaking 6'.

Some more pics for folks who had asked about the scale comparisons. The pre-modded Vader was gigantic compared to other figures, which was over a half inch to an inch taller than he is now. These pics are from several months ago, which are before I used the Briareos forearms (the body has the SS Vader forearms, so he has the monkey arms).

You are probably right, It seems to me like hard core body builders and lifters seem to loose a bit more of their height than most in their old age.:lol
I used to do a bit of work for Ernie Frantz and when I first met him he seemed to be about 6 inches shorter than in all of his old pictures taken around the same gym from the 70'-80's, though I thought it was best not to ask a guy who at 76 I have seen lift 600+ pounds, about his "shrinkage" problem.:horror

FYI. Discussion about flipping a figure, especially asking for advice about it, isn't really taken well on this forum. ;)

There is are buy/trade/sell threads on this forum, I don't see why there is a problem getting advise on what he should expect to get for it. It his figure to sell just like all the people selling their figures on this sit.

Really don't see how anyone could be bothered by this.

Wait and see. :lol

I suppose you are probably right, I have seen some pretty heated arguments over absolutely nothing around here.:lol

It depends on what section of the forum you frequent. Most of the sections are pretty laid back and fun, but there are a few that are hardcore and purist about some subject matter. All in all though this forum has some of the more respectful and easier to get along with people I've come across on a forum (that's why I stick to reading and posting here).

I Agree this is the friendliest of the sites for this stuff I have joined and the reason I have made this one my home in a way, but i dont stick my head out of the Star Wars customs section to often, but a few of the times I have, I have seen some pretty silly arguments going on.

thenam was right though, there are some people who don't think to highly of people "flipping" stuff, even if it is theirs to with as they please, especially if someone is fairly new around here or doesn't post a lot some will take it as they only come here sell their stuff.

I personally don't care if people want to "flip" stuff, it's not my problem, and if the price is right I'll buy their stuff. Hell, If people the people that buy the custom clothes and such that I make wanted to "flip" them that's their business not mine, I got better things to worry about. :)

I just came here for some advice thats all,i just thought you guys would be the best people to help me out.
don't worry about it. you should be able to sell it for as much as you want. i don't consider selling year old figures as "flipping" anyway. prices go up on sold out collectibles. thats life. "flipping" is what i'm gonna do with that Gort predator when i sell him in few weeks for $600. that will probably be frowned on but too bad.:nana:

And you will probably get it, I mean really, who's to say who's worse, the "jerk" that flips something for twice what he paid, or the "idiot" that buys it from him.:lol

pffft....it's going straight to ebay. i ain't gonna mess with these whiners.

:lecture:rotfl:lecture:rotfl:lecture Nothing's more awesome than trying to get fair market value for a long sold out collectible than being picked at by all the entitlement baby birds expecting this imaginary "SSF discount" before being called a scalper/flipper because you refuse to let it go for their absurd offers of retail or below. :lol

That reminds me of the guy who posted recently in the Cobra Throne thread looking for a deal on the Throne.:slap He later bragged about getting a great deal on the Throne off of EBay, after no one would sell it to him below cost. Funny thing is, now SS is giving away GC codes for free for online ComicCon. Folks are snagging codes for $50, $75, and even $100 easy (which can be applied towards the Throne). :rotfl
