Is SS going to revisit this character? I know some time ago they mentioned another version...

It's inevitable at some point and they have mentioned they will produce another version. It's just a matter of when. My guess is that it's still a little ways off with all the other announcements made, and announcements yet to come this year.

SSC mentioned doing an ESB version on this one at some point. Hopefully they fix the helmet and height issues with that release. With those issues fixed that version would be the ultimate/must-have 1/6 Vader.

I thought I read somewhere (forgot where ) SSC will be doing ROTJ Vader? Well either one is fine with me folks.

Its funny, I've had my replacement cape for a couple months now but still haven't put it on I did do the height mod and still need to lower the helmet.

After that I should be golden. Guess I have something to do this afternoon

I know its medi and SS vader and fett respectively, but even if the SS fett was as tall as the SS stormie, he would be much taller in comparison to that photo. The SS stormie comes to Vaders shoulder.

This figure looks awesome. I've changed my mind about sideshows Vader. I like it more now. That's why I have one on the way. The Stormtrooper in the tantive IV pic is shorter than most stormtroopers. They all varied in height. The majority were about 6 ft tall but some were shorter so comparing that pic and thinking all stormtroopers were that height is not accurate. It's easier to compare fett. Jeremy bullock is 6ft tall and Vader is about 6'7" in all his glory. Lando is 6'1" which is why he seems a hair taller than fett in other pics. Han and lando are the same height and they can both see directly over lukes head at 5'7". Medi fett is too small. Vader is too tall. End of story. Or not...

He only looks about an inch taller than the 5'8" guy but you do shrink with age

I know this is an old post but I'm trying to read through all the information everyone has given in this thread and I had to comment. I met Jeremy bullock and he is 6ft. He may have shrunk a half inch but not much. My friend who has a fett costume was standing next to Jeremy in a pic and he is the same height. They are both 6 feet tall.

Seriously though, the next Vader figure had better be able to look down...

It's REALLY hard to look down when wearing that helmet. I have to bend over at the waist to do it. The armor, and the neck of the facemask make it nearly impossible.

Speedy do you have any side-by-side shots of Vader and a Stormie? Uh, on second thoughts, maybe don't post any. I've come to terms with SS Vader's height and don't need to see how much better it could be for losing a half inch
