Kongrats Sean!!!!

I like this pose quite a bit. I may just steal it from you with a minor tweak from myself. I want to go with something simple but Vader like if that makes sense. This is kind of what I was thinking.

Love the new photos, especially the "Join me..." one.

Next month can't get here soon enough!

The shoulders are attached to the RotS chest armor, but they can move up.

Relaxed:

You can see it separate here:

THAT is how armor SHOULD be designed. Sorry, Geeking out a little here. Real armor SHOULD slide seamlessly over itself like the ROTS chestplate and shoulder bells do. It allows for BOTH form and function, as armor should be a work of art as much as protection.
Looking at this, and having made armor quasi-professionaly for a while a few years back ( YAY SCA and LARPS) I can tell you more or less how it's designed.
the Chest plate, and the shoulders are in fact 3 separate pieces.
A chest piece, and 2 shoulder "bells" the shoulder bells would attach to a strap of some sort, Leather, Nylon, whatever with a rivit, allowing the shoulders to flex with the wearer, but the "relaxed" pose gives the greatest degree of protection and coverage. Tis is how Mideavl plate armor is designed, and it's how Vader's Armor in ROTS is as well.

Loving all the shots Sean. MORE! GIVE USMORE!
Try some more dynamic ones, just for fun. I've got a pic i want to take when i get mine. Really REALLY looking forward to him.

I'm glad people are getting their 20 day notices. I have mine pre-ordered at Alter Ego, but they should have them shortly after Sideshow starts shipping.

I thought of a good pose if you have a Leia. Have Vader standing behind holding her by the shoulders.
Then when Tarkin comes out he could stand in front. You can chuck some stormies in there too.

That was one pose I was thinking of doing.

I think this has to be my least favorite of the pics posted by MaulFan so far..looks nothing like Vader in the movie from that angle..eyes look too "happy"..if that makes sense...the rest of the pics..well, most are great and sell me on the figure.

You sure like to nit pick.

You sure like to nit pick.

I sure know Star Wars character design..you mean lol.

When you pay over a hundred dollars for a figure that was long in the making, whats wrong with picking out inaccuracies?, i still like the figure and will be picking it up, just it could had been better...wait, i nit pick?...yet so many have complained about the dome?..is that not nit picking?..hell if it were a hasbro figure, you would not see such "nit picking" out of me..though they do a good job on their smaller scale figures of Vader.

It even drives me nuts that Medicom decided to re-use the three piece helmet mold from their ROTJ figure on their ROTS figure, as it does not look true to the movie but, its a fine figure i am proud to own..just these little things changed would definitely increase the bang for the bucks you pay.

Dude, WE GET IT! If we didn't, your copycat posts (which is every post you've made in this thread) complaining about the helmet issue would certainly reaffirm it. At least find something else to whine about. The helmet thing is getting hella old. I just want to enjoy MF's Vader pics without reading your bull^^^^. Is that too much to ask?

Because:

A) It won't change anything at this point
B) It is annoying the hell out of us.
C) Some of us don't make love to Star Wars prop replicas every night so we wouldn't have noticed them on our own. (i.e. ignorance is bliss)

D) Would probably be better suited towards the Vader discussion thread, rather than the picture thread.

But, bigger is better right?..so i want a bigger dome to "make love" to..or you could rub my helmet there Frank Rizzo!. :D
