new things take a few rounds before all the kinks are ironed out. Its too bad that SE is the second figure from SS on the pro, which make it quite likely to have similar problem as Indy.

Hmmm. The Buck has always been kinda random regarding quality. I think the Prometheus will be the same. One figure loose, the next fine, the next loose in the legs, the next loose in the neck. I don't think they'll come up with a cure-all.
I guess we can just cross our figures then. :lol If this one is a loosey I'll probably just switch the pro out for a truetype.

Typically I put up with the faults. Simply can't afford to add $15-$25 to the cost of every figure.

They should, Hot Toys has.
And HT's cure was from the start!!

I can see people (who care about stability) will be using the True-Type more than they figured.

Why do people have to wait for a few more products to use the new bodies until the kinks are worked out? Isn't this something that should have been done BEFORE the product came out?

Makes it a waste.

Sadly very few products are perfect on the first few releases even if it is designed great full blown production runs can bring up a plethora of problems that don't come up in tests.

I just noticed that the SE summary on the preorder page is also featured on the package interior:

Code Name: SNAKE EYES

Ninja, Commando, deadly force of nature...

These terms merely scratch the surface of the enigma known as Snake Eyes.

Arguably one of the greatest assets to the GI Joe team, Snake Eyes' record of honor and valor cause even the most evil enemies to tremble with fear.

In his early military career, Snake Eyes proved himself time and again in combat, most notably during the rescue of his allies, wherein he sustained injuries to his face and vocal cords, costing him his voice. Donning a mask and face shield only added to the mystery of this silent soldier, known by many of his peers as "Classified." Later in life he would find himself fighting side by side with very the soldiers that he saved, as a member of America's Elite Fighting Force, G.I. Joe.

Snake Eyes has been trained by the very best of the best. The most elite of military specialists have molded him into the soldier he is today, making him proficient in almost all manner of small arms weaponry. Adding to his repertoire, he has fashioned his body into a living weapon under the watchful eye of some of the world's greatest martial artists, including the ninjitsu masters of the Arashikage Clan.

With three figs already announced in this line, I am anxious to see one in hand before committing to anymore, especially with BR Joker, Two Face shipping soon and the P1 going up for pre orders in the near future. Bring on Snake Eyes, Sideshow!

Pretty kew.

Justin, you just need to go make your own body . . .

:lecture :lecture :lecture

Although he'll probably just pad the Pro with toilet paper like he did with Jedi Luke and then not tell anybody in hopes of being PM'd like he's important so he can pretend he's actually a significant member of the customizing community and not the biggest Chicken Little in the Freaks forum. :lol

That does show you thought that wider shoulders would improve the figure.

I agree, it balances out the proportions of the head, you should be able to fit almost three head widths across the width of the shoulders on an athletic persons build. And I suggest you send a polite message to Sideshow asking they widen the shoulders, as I did a week ago. ;)

I don't think making the shoulders wider would be a easy task, it would require a whole new chest/torso to the Pro. And with him shipping maybe this month, I don't see that happening.
