Okay, this cartoon seems totally relevant to our "discussion" in this thread:
Wor-Gar said:Wow!? OK. That would be something.
BTW, Pirates 3 has beat out Spiderman 3 for biggest movie this summer so far. Remember Pirates, you used to like those best... before Transformers. Ya savvy?
I actually enjoyed AWE more than DMC, so you are wrong and obviously incapable of appreciating good cinema. Me and dekdave pray for you and the rest of civilization.SideshowDusty said:Sadly, I was very unimpressed with POTC 3 It had it's fun parts (loved the Davey Jones locker scenes and random jokes), but the horrible delivery of the Elizabeth speech and the mis-use of Norrington (one of the best characters in the whole trilogy) totally ruined it for me (I even gave it a second chance). The whole movie just felt... passionless... compared to the other 2. *shrug*

MaulFan said:YAWNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, the life just gets so easily sucked out of this thread sometimes, just when a good upbeat, fandom chat started up, boring dribble starts again.
SideshowDusty said:Obviously I am unworthy to live, so I should just kill myself now
Wor-Gar said:Yeah, I know what you mean. I just want to like it so badly.
Even bigger than your crush on Justin Timberlake?SideshowDusty said:Yeah, and I was SOOOO excited on opening night, you should have seen me, bouncing up and down in my chair like a kid. Oh well, I'll live, it's just a movie after all!
I was exactly the opposite with Transformers. I was not excited AT ALL by the prospect of the movie beforehand, but I walked out feeling like a little kid again! A little kid with a big crush on 21-year-old Shia TheBeef

Wor-Gar said:Oh boy. What is it with you and younger boys?
And did you really just type "TheBeef"???

SideshowDusty said:'cuz his last name means 'the beef' in french if you just switch a couple of the vowels around, and made it masculine (le) instead of feminine (la).
Although I'm sure he prefers 'Mr. TheBeef'
