Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

that head sculpt is terrible, the avengers version looks better lol. The rest looks great. ITs crazy how the stealth suit figure has a near perfect head sculpt and then they do this lol. anyone who pays 400$ for this is crazy!!!!!

Horrendous headsculpt, the wide shocked looking eyes only highlight the teeth creating a surprised and apologetic look rather than one of determination. This makes me glad I sold off my Cap collection otherwise Id have this thing on the way.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

Nice photos as always. While technically the detailing is amazing, the headsculpt looks weird like he's in shock or dumbfounded or something, and the shoulders look like he's wearing 1960s football shoulder pads. It's also very bare bones of an offering. Looks like I'll be sticking with the original TFA version for the time being, although I do have the stealth 2-pack coming.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I feel like this was just a milk figure like the Iron Man series. This is almost identicle to TFA cap with a few extra red stripes and even comes with less accessories. These "re-releases" are stressful to completionists.... I hate having 2 figures on my shelf that look so similar and when people come over to view my collection, they say "you have 2 of that one?" Then I sound stupid when I say "well that one has the extra red stripe in the center, you see?" Response = "ooooohhhh, (whisper to other guests) this guy is obsessed". I know Im obsessed with my collection, but I dont want to look obsessed :lol

Headsculpt is meh. Might put the Steve Rogers sculpt on this from the stealth 2Pak.

Not always different people but my collection is ever growing so repeat guests always have new things to see :wink1:

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

Thanks for pics OMG. Unfortunately, they didn't improve the looks of the head sculpt

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I think it looks great. The head sculpt does look a bit weird but I'm still keeping my order.

Great photos, OMG, but to me it did not save the HS that could have been made better. In this shot, it's like they're shooting for an Avengers scene and then suddenly Chris Evans felt the need to go to the toilet.

I won't be surprised to see a lot of waitlist conversions within a few days.
