Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

From a certain angle the expression does look a little odd. Almost sad. But it is a much more Evans like face than TFA version and even Avengers version. If my WL converts I'd keep him so feel free to cancel everyone. But zero chance I'd pay $400.

Chance of conversion..... 100%.

Great photos, OMG, but to me it did not save the HS that could have been made better. In this shot, it's like they're shooting for an Avengers scene and then suddenly Chris Evans felt the need to go to the toilet.

I won't be surprised to see a lot of waitlist conversions within a few days.

He's actually doing Kegel exercises.

Great pics, disappointing product.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

Awesome awesome photos! :clap LOVE this figure, HS is meh. I plan on buying one or two of the unmasked sculpts from the two pack so no worries. So excited :woo:woo:bunnydanc:bunnydanc:bunnydanc

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

Great pictures as always. Any way to get comparison shots to the first avenger figure?

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I think im cancelling. That sculpt is terrible

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

Sorry forgot to add your pic reviews are awesome dude. Keep em coming.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I like it.

I agree that the headsculpt isn't the best one. Honestly, I will probably put a TFA head on mine, but there is a lot to like about this one. Specifically the tunic and belt. And of course, hopefully the die cast will hold paint better than the plastic.

Thanks for the pics OMG.

Now, a noob question: How long after OMG's reviews do we normally see pieces start shipping stateside?

Usually a month or so. Sometimes a little longer.

This is Captain Freaking America as he appeared in the incredible finale of THE WINTER SOLDIER. This is not a figure you pass on unless you're the most casual of Cap/TWS fans. Yeah right all of you saying, "I'm cancelling my waitlist." As if it was going to convert. :lol The headsculpt is definitely a little specific and simply requires that you pose him with his head slightly looking down or in a bit of an action pose. Neutral pose with both hands limply at his sides obviously isn't very flattering or the intended look for this particular figure. I'm still most excited for Stealth Cap but this guy looks awesome and I wouldn't dream of cancelling this soon to be $600+ figure.

THANK YOU!!! Now I don't wanna hear people whine that they cancelled their pre order and now all of a sudden they want it again and have to paid inflated secondary market price.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I cancelled this because the main draw to these expensive figures is that they actually look like the character in the movie. This figure does not do that, so it isn't for me.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

I can appreciate that. Honestly, I'd rather not have six Captain America figures that look exactly the same, I'd prefer some difference. I recently bought a head from Headplay that I really really like, and I'm glad it doesn't look that much like Chris Evans. But that's just me. But that head also went on my Super Soldier figure, which isn't from the movie it's from the comics.

Re: <> Captain America 2 (Golden Age Version) - OMG Photo Review <>

OMG, how does the shield attach to his back? Is there a magnet or do we have to use the same hanger as TFA? Thanks.
