Wanted to see this in theatre but ill wait for home release sounds like a better watch at home then theatres.

I dont know if ill watch this ever again,maybe ill watch the ending again.
Movie has a lot of down time. Theres much more quiet time than in the first. A lot of board room meetings.
theres no tension, no suspense. nothing like the original. people just kinda show up to train, theres no real threat. theres no danger. people are just talking about business deals, about new kids to train. theres no need for anyone to be there.
theres literally no tension or suspense whatsoever until the last 30 minutes.
actors are not given a back story, not given any time to grow. they might as well be nameless videogame characters that you interact with in a game. None of the kids have any reason to be there or give you any reason to cheer them up.
the fights you see with the evil robot are stupid and happen out of nowhere. theres no reason for them, theres no reason for the evil robot to do what it does. it just kind of happens.
This movie feels literally like a video game. characters just walk around, you have cut scenes with dialogue. Villain appears and you have to beat it up for no good reason.
This movie gives a giant middle finger to Mako and Everything Guillermo del toro created in the first one. This movie felt like JUSTICE LEAGUE in a way.
scenes are just put together without any rhyme or reason. theres absolutely no reason for john boyega to exist, theres no reason for him to be in the program.
theres no reason for this be 10 years in the future. it doesnt affect anything. it doesnt change anything. this could have been 1 year. 6 months. theres no point to it.
The ONLY good thing about the movie and the only good character was the girl. she was the only one that had a purpose and the only one that had a reason to be there. the only one that was important.
This movie RIPS off the original in many ways. it ends the same way. the characters deal with the same stuff. almost the entire ending is the same. the connection between Boyega and the girl is the same as the first movie with Mako. this girl and Mako might as well be the same character
those new suits look RIDICULOUS.... RIDICULOUS.... they were wearing spandex with Hockey Pads..... I freaking swear
This movie is exactly like the Remake of robocop and the original is the original robocop. everything you hated about the remake of robocop is here. Think of everything you hate about the robocop remake (The lack of humor, the lack of plot, the lack of likable characters. the lack of cool action, the lack of cool visuals) This is the same.
there was no reason to have Mako, there was no reason for Ron Pearlman to come back. this movie destroys the first one

Im not even going to hate on this like I hated on The Last Jedi or Justice league. this movie left me disappointed. it left me sad and moody. I felt taken advantage of my time and money. I honestly felt robbed. This felt like a bad episode of an anime. This felt like the Godzilla remake. this is basically the same as Godzilla.
Im not going to enjoy attacking this or trashing it or making fun of it. im honestly truly just beaten down to tell the truth. it is an awkward feeling. i dont have the energy to make fun of its problems,
I guess this is because i was such a huge HUGE fan of the original and I really loved the original.
This movie makes you appreciate the original so much more. this movie makes you RESPECT Guillermo Del toro as a director. It makes you respect his vision.
I really respect him so much more for making pacific rim as nice as it was.
Little things like the robot saving the boat. like the Mako flashback. little things like the nerdy guy hiding in the bunker at the end, the relationship between Mako and the white dude... the speech by the black guy at the end. the humor in the original, the little bits of humor, This movie is Missing EVERYTHING like that.
This is a straight up action movie like BATTLESHIP but without the action.
Im sad and i feel betrayed. this movie deserves to fail. I knew it couldnt be like the first one, but it is just SO DULL.... Boyega is so annoying... he tries to be funny but it comes out embarrassing, tries to be friendly or charming and comes out wooden.
Clint Eastwood's son is SOOOO Bad....... I was baffled by him. truly truly baffled. I was amazed at how bland he was. there was no emotion to anything.

Jeez well I'll stay away until home release sounds awful and you know I'm the same way with star wars and justice league we got thrown some trash last year. I'll pass on this and save my money for ready player one.

Saw this today. There were things I liked. It felt like a shell of the original. The charm just wasn’t there. Overall, it was fun and predictable. I expected better from Steve DeKnight.
This is a cynical, charm-less version of the original without the wit and without the suspense

I saw this tonight and wanted to walk out the entire time. My favorite parts were the "Alice" reveal and when the bad Jaeger punched fake Gypsy Danger up that building and the windows shattered.

There was not enough robot vs kaiju in this movie. The visuals were cool, but it was just wayyyy off. I wanted this to be good but it wasn’t.

I was going to see it this weekend, but I'm kind of glad I didn't now after reading some stuff....
Sounds like they killed off my favorite character, Mako Mori, for no reason at a very early point of the film. Not feeling that at all.

I was wanting to see Unsane tonight, but the woman and her friend out voted me for this. For some reason. 
Movie was meh.
No range Jax Teller carried the first movie way better than no range Finn.
It was pretty much a weak rehash of the first flick. The junk girl was the only interesting human character in this. Kid Eastwood surprisingly was not bad. This movie series just needs a basic backstory with why they are fighting and then the rest of the movie action action action. And even that action wasn't that great. Xbox cutscene level stuff.
I did like spastic guy from the first movie turning out to be the bad guy in this. Oh, whoopsie daisy. Spoiler. My Bad.
Even the nice score from the first movie was butchered up in this.
Every Transformer flick I watched was far better than this.
Should've saw Unsane instead and Netflix'd Pacific Rim.
And I hate Nu-Star Wars even more for giving us Boyega.

i thought about watching Tomb raider but was curious about this, I too regret that decision deeply
