I would say the cd has about half of it unfortunately. Maybe it was just me but I didn't hear that much of the Rodrigo y Gabriela stuff in the actual movie. It seemed that there was way more on the cd.

Yeah, I didn't hear as much of the spanish music played in the movie either. I bought mine on itunes and really has been worth buying as its awesome to listen to.

I thought it was pretty good. Better than Prates 3 for sure. I really liked that it was just Jack and Barbossa. Didn't miss the will and Elizabeth characters at all. Thought Ian McShane was good, I have always thought he was a good actor and don't think the character was written to his full potential.

One major complaint. Penelope Cruz has to be one of the ugliest leading ladies in Hollywood. Seriously, she looks like her mom hooked up with Mister Ed.

Someone told me Zimmer was tired of doing Pirates music, hence why the score is boring, forgettable, and phoned in.

Only good stuff was the Rodrigo y Gabriella's songs. That's it.

I liked it alot. WAY better than any of the sequels. Also Penelope was beautiful, dont know what your talking about bud. Her and depp had great chemistry. There was also alot of really funny moments in the film which i didnt expect.

Theres a few tracks I'm enjoying from the soundtrack. I think its on par with most of Zimmer's stuff.

All the tracks are growing on me and, I love the end of the mermaids track that takes a different tone on the theme when beckett gets shot up.

I'm working on getting that skull display you see on the cover of the soundtrack with the crossswords and Jack's hair/goatee from my local theatre. Its 3d actually chromed and weighs like 150 pounds.

Just got back from seeing it. I really liked it. It gave me the same "I don't want this movie to end" feeling as the first three.

Blackbeard was a bit underwhelming and underutilized, but I still dig him.

The notion that Depp was just phoning it in this time around, is completely unfounded. He was as good as always.

Good movie. More pirates pleeease. :)

Zimmer reused themes for specific movies (the AWE theme for the mermaids, Wheel of Fortune theme) Hence why it was lazy.

So, so boring

It felt like it went on for 4 hours not 2 and 13mins.
Jack Sparrow was the main protagonist for a short while only to be sidelined so the film could introduce a ton of other characters nobody cared about, including a dumb love story involving a preacher and a mermaid. McShane looked as bored as I was watching the movie, and just seemed to phone it in. Jeffery Rush was almost pointless, they just brought him back so people could go, oh look Barbossa's back. Luckily they remembered to bring back Jack as the main hero for the finale, only to then rip off the Last crusade.

So it sucked? What a surprise.

Oh well, at least it will fit in with the last... oh, I don't know, all of them!

This wasn't really as bad as people are making it. The main thing I didn't like is that it didn't have as much cool action stuff like the others did. It's definitely not up for a visual effects Oscar.

But at least this time the jokes weren't a ripoff from the first movie.
