I love the opening to Moonlight Serenade.........................:D

I love the whole opening of the duel.

Me I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always count on to be dishonest, honestly. It's the honest ones you have to look out for, you never know when they might do something incredibly...stupid.

Thats basicly Will And Elizebeth. One of the things that annoyed me about that score....not much new stuff.

And half the Malstrom is Wheel of Fortune anyway....

Well a lot of it is recycled stuff, but it's still arranged in different ways, and I love the music a lot and would really like to have each cut and mix to listen to. I was glad for the repetitive tracks, all the stuff they repeated were the pieces I liked, and the new stuff they came up with was nice too, like Davy Jones' theme, and the love theme from World's End.

No it's not, there's a bit missing, and some really good stuff at that, all the music from like when Mr. Swann is fighting the skull hand and that bit. What's on the CD covers the start and end of the duel, but some of the great stuff in between is absent, and I love the whole entirety, it sucks having that bit in the middle missing, even if I've got 2/3, it sucks missing the other 3rd.

Yeah, the Swann stuff is one Skulls.

And the circus music is on Dinner is Served.

I dont like super repetivesim...(I cant spell).

I like themes revisited, but I dont like the same song pasted on there.

I'm gathering evidence for the Jack Vs Barbossa fight. :monkey5

I love the way At World's End finished, musically and visually, that shot of Jack at sunset with the more emphatic rendition of his theme was great.

I love that whole soundtrack. It's my favorite of the three. The "love theme" is epic. I get chills every time. It's Hans's best work.

Oh, OK, and the Swann stuff from Curse is not in the score at all. I can throw in the DVD and figure out the time frame I'm referring to, but trust me, it's not in there.

Yup, I liked it best at the end with them on the beach, but all the twists on it throughout AWE were great.

I know it is...somewhere. I heard it. Right after I watched the movie, I put on the score. It had the same cue as the Sawnn scene.

Hold up....:D

Not trying to start a ruckuss :lol, I just have loved all the music from the first sword swing to the shot into Barbossa and I know there are pieces of music missing from the CD and it's annoyed me, I've tried to find bootlegs, anything to get the full cut, with no luck.

My favorite music from the trilogy is Davy Jone's organ music and "Up is Down," but my absolute favorite piece from the score is during the "Part of the crew, part of the ship" scene where Jones' crew surrounds Will and Bootstrap cuts out his heart. Unfortunately, this piece was not included on any soundtrack and so I have to resort to listening to it on this video on YouTube, from 1:10 to 2:00.

Oh no ruckuss here sir. We're just having a debate....you're probably right...but still. I argue until i'm proven wrong. :lol

Oh I didn't think it was anything but in good fun, so no worries. Let me pop the DVD in, I'll find the time frame. I think there's even like little 20 second bits here and there too that are missing, but there's one lengthy spot that's noticably absent from the CD.

One of my favorite Sparrow lines, simply because I have a thing for Keira.

"This outfit doesn't flatter you at all, it should either be a dress or nothing at all, I happen to have no dress in my cabin."

Ok, well it may also make sense that when I say music from the duel, I mean even music from the stuff on the boats, I'm just referring to the pieces that play between the start of the duel and the end.

From 1:52:48 until about 1:56:36 is almost entirely stuff not on the CD.

This is all that matters:

Johnny Depp once again plays the flamboyant Captain Jack, and Geoffrey Rush reprises his role as his adversary, Barbossa.

Although I'm interested in the change in director, say what you want about the storylines the visuals of the film I loved and the way things were cut. Not a huge fan of Marshall's style at least from Chicago or Nine.

Perhaps Depp will have some inputs into the creative process. I never realized until recently, even though he didn't direct them, Stallone was very hands on with the directors on the Rambo series and took control on a lot of things, maybe Depp'll take the reigns at times, he seems passionate about the character and story.
