let me add that the headdress on this figure is also outstanding with the real feathers and all. it seems to get overshadowed by the sculpt, which is also pretty good BTW.

The only negative of Cannibal Jack is the recycling of his pistol/sword right hand isn't fitting for the scepter and it's so heavy, you're a little limited in poses using the scepter.

Don't give up Eli! He will come, but you must be patient. For more than a year I waited for the Hobbits to come, and only now can I actually enjoy them. It seems like an eternal road, but have faith - there will be a dawn! Don't give up yet, especially not with such a horrible, horrible alternative as Zizzle. Of all things!

I believe he did and that's why he's getting flustered as other SSC orders have shipped.

I'd shoot Customer Service an email Eli and make sure it's all good, just say hey, I've noticed the Cannibal Jack Sparrow figures are shipping, but I haven't heard anything on my Order ____, can you let me know if there are any problems with my order or if it'll be shipping soon. If you treat them right, Sideshow CS will take good care of you.

So I finally saw the final Pirates movie just now (I know, I'm late, what else is new) - and I loved it. Oh, it's massively tragic and downright sad when you get right down to it, but I loved it nonetheless. It's strangely cathartic in a way I never thought a film could be for such a sorrowful tale, but everything clicked for me. I didn't mind all the plots and action as I'm actually a fan of film intricacy, and I didn't mind any of the acting - in fact I didn't even mind Orlando Bloom this time! I think it's a wonderful, complex and sad story - and those, I think, are often stories worth telling. Not every story needs to have a happy ending to be worth repeating now and then.

I can see why you wait for your figures with such anticipation, Eli. But after seeing that movie, and thinking about ten years at sea for every one year ashore, is it really too long to wait?
