Good grief man, he's begging to get photographed in your cool new spots, I bet Jack looks good with that red.

I missed this thread too, but mostly because of the dissappointment of SDCC having nothing new for this, but the positive is, outside of TDK, Hot Toys isn't too busy right now. The Predator stuff's been leaked for awhile, so those are well underway, the ALIEN guys are shipping now, so that's old news. Really, TDK is the big consumer of HT efforts right now, and rightly so, it's a great time to cash in. I wouldn't be surprised if other lines pickup again over the fall. Hoping to see some more POTC, Rambo, Rocky. I don't want this license to do. If no one else is ever made in this line, and I'm hoping more are made, I at least want a Barbossa, if we don't get him my POTC lineup will feel empty.

I've gone Jack crazy lately. Bought 2 Cannibal versions and I have 3 of the regular now. Why? I have no idea. Everytime I find a decent deal I jump on it. Guess I'm hoping to customize other pirates with the parts.

And "Red Room" it shall be for Cap't Jack.

I'm not sure if POTC is old news to HT now with Bat-mania. They're bound to milk TDK to death before winter. And Two-Face is yet to come... so the energy is still there. Just not sure they would backtrack to a line that has no film releases left, no DVD tie-in, nothing.

Why oh why did they NOT do Barbossa?

My only real gripe with HT (besides height consistency) is that they rarely finish a line. They follow Sideshow in that respect. I'd let them off the hook for not doing DMC Will and Eliz if they at least finished with Barbossa. But his absence is a huge hole in this line.

At this point I only got Jack and Jones. I'm keeping it that way unless they do Barbossa, then I might pick up Will and Eliz and make my own DMC versions with some Zizzle outfit parts and stuff.

Well, here's the thing. Some folks have reported and even posted pictures of Jack's with extra dark complexion. Fortunately, I got my Jack in the first production run and it's the right tan look.

That's my thing. This line could really be of SSC Star Wars size in numbers if HT wanted to, but what they have done could be enough with a Barbossa, he's the only key player not represented yet.

I hope the line has just been set aside to let TDK and Iron Man cash in on their respective releases and once the hype fades other lines will get attention again. I thought Rocky was done and they came out of nowhere with the latest so you never know with them. My impression's been that the POTC line's been a good seller, so I can't see them dropping it for lack of support.

I might swap out my Will turner body. I bought a TT for a Wayne custom but if I get the Saturday Toys suit I'll use that body and have the TT as a spare, always hated the sculpted neck choice on Will.

Thanks! I didn't go through the whole thread because it's so long. I went back and looked at the pics and mine is definately the darker version. Though I'm not thrilled with it, it's still a wonderful figure. I'm trying to get a hold of a Will now.

Will's great, other than having a sculpted neck, I've got no issues with that figure.

I was actually disappointed with Will. He looks hunched over in the neck and shoulders area. Like he's shrugging or something. I dunno how to describe it.

And since they haven't done a Barbossa I kinda wish I would have just stuck with Jack.

I've slowly got together Two captain Jacks V1 & 2 and Will. I'm quite happy with just those for the moment.

I'm in the process of trying to make them some wooden bases.

Well, I think Sao was because of Chow Yun Fat, not the character's worth.

It makes me so angry that they did two Fengs instead of a Barbossa and Norrington, I can't help it. Feng was such a pointless character, only added because of the actor.

Yeah i miss the Pirates talk as well,im holding my breath for a BArbossa to be announced hopefully soon,but HT said that they wont give us more Pirates at the moment.
