Will is great, but Elizabeth is a pass. I haven't seen the Medicon Batman.

dosn't work that way AFAIK. they get a film liscense, then they've got the rights to do every char. if they can't get the actor likeness rights, then we get a figure like the Aliens Marines, or Kane.
for whatever reason, hot toys CHOSE NOT TO MAKE Barbosa

I know. I was referring to the Barbossa likeness. There would be no point in making him with a generic likeness, since he has a very distinct look.

Well, I don't think HT had rights to make their Edward Scissorhands figure look just like Depp, but I think it looks pretty close.

Even without rights to Geoffrey Rush's likeness, the way Barbossa looks, you could come damn close enough to avoid rights issues but still deliver and appropriate looking figure.

I wouldn't, you can probably get these for much less from a board member or even off of EBay.

That equals about $195 in USD, which is a lot more than what I payed. I payed about $120(92 €)-$140(107 €) each for all of them over the past few weeks.

Got Will and Elizabeth today, so my Pirates collection is complete.

Does anybody have any pictures of how to tie Elizabeth's scabbard correctly? I can't really make out the instructions that came with it.

Thanks. I know I didn't get Sao Feng, but I'm not a big fan of the character and I think the collection looks pretty complete without him. However, Barbosa is needed to complete the display, so I hope Hot Toys gives him to us someday.

Here is my Cannibal Jack, love this figure to death..one of Hot Toys best ever.
I do have the coat and hat from the first release that i bought from a seller that parted a brand new one out a few months back.

Where is all this sudden love for the Hot Toys Pirates coming from? A few weeks ago Cannibal Jack was in stock at Sideshow. I bought all of my Pirates figs for $100 or under on eBay, and now they seem to have temporarily dried up.

Sorry to hear that. Keep checking the boards though because I've seen Cannibal Jack pop up on here before. You can also jump on the Wait List at Sideshow because they only sold out a few weeks ago and are likely to get a few more back in stock.
