I've been listening to the music again too, got me thinking, I really hope either A) Hans Zimmer returns to score it or, B) if someone new comes on, they don't reinvent the wheel and use the classic themes.

When I go to the theater to see this new one, the most exciting moment will be, assuming it's done right, Jack's first appearance on screen again with that classic Jack intro music playing.

Also, for me, Seeing how the villain plays. POTC has some great and classic villains

I'm really hoping HT announces the On Stranger Tides license before the year ends. And perhaps even show us a figure or 2... Although they might wait with that until the film is coming to theatres.

I missed out on all the POTC figures they made so far, and I really want to add at least a Jack to my collection!

I'm also looking forward to see how Blackbeard looks! Hope they'll make a figure of him too!!

That's an impressive Jack costume....

On another note, the pictures of On Stranger Tides so far have shown Barbosa in an admiral's outfit/military uniform. I hope they give us Standard Barbossa and not this costume. it'd be just like Hot Toys to do this (IE Pirate Lord Elizabeth Swan instead of standard). Penelope looked good though, and I can't wait for that figure

Some interesting things to note from that video.

- Jack now has 2 pistols, at least for the clip
- Jack has an "x" looking scar on his right cheek under his eye
- Hair changes

While this Jack is close enough to the trilogy look, I'm kind of hoping now that we get a DX Jack from the 3 and not based on the new movie.

As long as a PERS Jack head is minus that new scar, fine by me, it doesn't look bad, but I want a PERS head that embodies the first 3.

With DX04 we DO know that two PERS heads is possible now. The only thing would picking the right expression for each head and satisfying the fan base with their choices....daunting

I made a bold tactical move:

I sold my Cannibal Jack in anticipation of Hot Toys releasing a new and better Jack Sparrow eventually.






I already miss the figure dearly...

I just want to see an awesome new Jack from the new film! He's one of the best film-characters of recent years and one that definitely deserves a spot on my shelf!!!
