Well after cutting Will lose, I did the same with Davy and Jack. Just don't have the cash right now and finding a job to keep the core of my collecting isn't easy. Next up on the block are Shaun and Ed, then we are getting into the core and time to sell organs.

I also ordered Cannibal Jack from Alter Ego and I've yet to recieve any e-mails concerning his arrival. The AE site still says "shipping 2nd quarter 2008" so I guess they haven't got their lot yet.

So i got these 3 today,i was also worried that it might look too plastic,but in person i guarantee youll like it,doesnt look toyish at all,really love this one.

Yah, that's pretty bad...I've been debating about getting this POTC figures, the issues are the height, Jack being too tall and now Davy too short...
Maybe a body swap is needed.

Ya, looks top notch, I can't believe how they were able to achieve the wet look like that, probably just a gloss, but it doesn't look too glossy which is good.

In my opinon, Jack and Will are too tall. Davy's perfect height and the male figures need to be a bit shorter.

That said, all in all, the figures all look so nice, it can be looked past how they don't blend well together because even though the heights differ, the quality of each figure unifies them because they're all very impressive.

Seeing you all get your figures is making me feel all alone, with no POTC figures. I ordered my Jack from SSC. When do you think I can expect him? Two more weeks?

The Arms,Legs and Tentacles is soft rubber,but its a normal HT body underneath,so its not pure rubber all the way through like Rambo or Rocky,feels much like the Takara Batman if you have ever owned that one.

The Coat,Hat,boots is hard plastic,but not the kind of plastic that is stiff and cant bend,you can bend them,but limited.

The Lobster claw and leg is off course hard plastic,but has joints to bend.

You can do pretty much what you want with the tentacles,very soft rubber,pretty realistic.

This shot makes Davy look more or less OK...

And in this shot he looks like a midget.

I assume this is because the distance to the camera and so forth is different between the two shots. I hope the actual height is closer to what he looks like in the first shot.
