I strongly agree. Hell, no one will ever be able to tell me that Silvestri and Turner didn't base their design for Witchblade on porn star Chasey Lain.

Characters with longevity to then, like Ivy, will have multiple incarnations that they're look is based on throughout the years and this statue is no different. It just so happens that I think Ivy is being based on Lily Cole this time and I'm totally fine with that

It comes down to personal taste. I've always found Elizabeth Hurley to be overrated looks wise.

But that's me, for you she would have been perfect.

yea, thats where all the cosplay goth girls hang out. Those peeps are def interesting. but the crazy perverted anime stuff such as what was shown earlier is in akihabara...and some of it is damn scary!

It looks cartoony. If you like the idea of a cartoony representation of the character, it is a huge win. If not, you will be disappointed and have reservations, and the face will always bug you a little.

It may look a little less life like if thats what you mean. But I believe it suites the character really well and am very happy my purchase of this statue.

I don't see a cartoon.

The nose looks very small, and long and low on her face. Her nose is very close to her mouth. The eyes are also quite large and the bridge of the nose is also quite wide. It doesn't quite look like a real person. I find it reminiscent of Don Bluth's art.

A lot of Sideshow's PFs do look like real people. I would say most look realistic. Scarlet Witch looks realistic, for example. It has a strong Eastern European look to it, and could be a little prettier, but it looks like a real person.

I love everything about it; the pose, the details, the leaves, the colors, the regular plants, but I think the face is a BIG disappointment and based on the sneak peek that was the difference whether I was going to buy it or not. She's not a fave character though and there's so much stuff coming down the pike that I can put that $350 on something else.

But if the Wonder Woman PF gets a face like Ivy, Storm or Wanda I'm gonna rip my innards out.
