FYI, I just paid the production company a deposit to make the uniforms and accessories. I will be going to Hong Kong next week and will stay there for about 3 weeks or until I see the prototypes which takes about 3 weeks to prepare. I will keep this post up-to-date.

P.S. Actually we still don't know what's going on with the accessories. Because of price negogiation, I added the accessories as part of the deal.

Thank you guys or ladies. As long as everyone is happy, I am happy. Just got off the phone with the Agent. We are setting up a schedule for my 3 weeks stay in HK to check out the factories and to see the prototypes before I come home. Once I have some progress over there, I will surely update you. (I can't back off now, my money is at stake.)

Abake, I am only making the uniforms for K, S, and M, because we are only commissioning Chris to make these 3 headsculpts. If Chris will make other crew members, then I will go make the uniforms.

BTW, if these uniforms satisfy us, I want to do TWOK uniforms. I want to have Khan, also I want to see Spock in his "white bathrobe" as seen in ST4. We'll see what happens after this production.

P.S. Anybody want me to help them to get nude bodies and such? Domestic shipping is a lot cheaper!

Just to clarify, the uniforms can only be purchased if we are buying the custom heads? No offence to the commissioned sculptor, but I was able to get a set of the Scifimetropolis heads and I can't image being able to upgrade what I already have. I just need uniforms, and more heads of the crew.

The uniforms that I am doing are offered to those who purchased the K, S, M head sculpts from Chris, based on the order chart in this post. The price will be whatever the production company charges me +$5 to $10 to cover my local (not international)transportation cost (I believe is reasonable). Those did not order from Chris can also get the uniforms from me if there are any left and at a slightly higher mark-up. I don't need anyone to pay me anything until the uniforms are on my hand (It should be about 3 months later.)

Because I have not seen anything regarding accessories in this post and the production company offered me to do accessories when I met with them in HK last month, I included accessories as part of my deal with the company. Accessories include phasers, communicators, tricorders, pointed boots, M's medical bag with his little vibrators and injection devices. The Phaser might be seperated as Phaser 1 and 2. Both the communicator and tricorder can be "opened" and "closed". Phasers and Communicators will incorporate magnets for attaching to the pants. If the phaser can be seperated into P1 ad P2, it will attached to the pants at a fixed position (right lower hip). If the phaser is one unit, it will attached "along" the right hip. Communicator and Phaser 1 will also attached at fixed positions (back of pants). McCoy's medical bag will attached to the front left side.

The uniforms has 3 types as for K, S, n M. Because S was 6' tall while K n M were 5'9", S's boots might include some paddings to make him stands taller. I am requesting the uniforms to be made according to the official uniform template that I bought from Roddenberry Productions (this might or might not be feasible). The uniforms will tailor to HT bodies. There are also some other detailings that I want to incoporate, such as soften boots to assist posting of the figures, S's vulcan hand sign. I will find out more when I meet with the production company in Hong Kong.

I might have to set up a list for those who will not buy the head sculpts from Chris but interested to obtain these uniform sets because I have received too many requests. I don't think I ordered enough.

Last month when I was in HK, I bought 3 HT nudes at around $25 each. I think ebay used to sell them at $30 plus shipping which is about another $30. Nevertheless, you are looking at $45+ if you buy it here in the US. If I buy them for you, I can bring them back myself so you will only need to pay domestic shipping ($10? if you live in the US). The best thing to do is to tell me the maximum price that you want to pay without domestic shipping. Don't worry, I am not a nude bodies merchant, I won't make any money out from this. Maybe I will add $2-3 to it so I can buy something to drink when I go out to get you the bodies ;-) Let me know, I am leaving next week.

And, yes, I understand that this is a commission thread for Chris' heads. However, as it has morphed into a Trek uniform thread as well, I don't see why those of us with heads already, or for those who may wind up wanting a set of Chris' after they are done and seen, either can't get or would have to pay more for uni sets. I appreciate that nanjin is going thru the trouble to get them done and I'm sure his being there is helpful, but maybe a headcount on those interested in unis would be helpful. It may also be beneficial to break this uni idea into a seperate thread for its own benefit. Of course, without any idea of pricing, its arguing a moot point right now.
