The amount of interest and work you're putting into this is amazing nanjin! Thanks a lot from a fellow fan.

It would be very helpful to a new list for the people who are interested in the uniforms once you have a price.

The Trek figures already in my collection use Dragon (Kirk, McCoy, Scotty) and a BBi G1 Dylan Hunt figure for Spock. How much difference in the uniform fit is there between body types?

If we all use HT bodies, how about a pair of bendable hands for HT bodies?

I don't like the bendable hands. To me they don't look as good, but that's just me. Also I'd like to have you pick up one Asian and one White body for me, if you would be so kind. Tell me how you'd like me to send you payment. Thank you.

Bendable hands just an idea. I will get them myself and fit them to HT bodies.

I will look for 1 Asian and 1 Caucasian HT nude for you. Please let me know the maximum price. I will bring them back then you pay me. Paypal or bank deposit will do.

I have no idea. Aren't these 1/6 nude bodies are similar in height?

The uniforms that I am working on will be for HT.

I think True Types are slightly taller and have broader shoulders than regular DML's.
At a certain point I was toying with the idea of using three different bodies. A Buck for Spock (they seem the tallest and lankiest to me), a TT for Kirk and a DML for Bones. Then I thought that maybe a Prometheus would be a good idea for Bones, but maybe it's too short, I don't know. Another possibility for Bones would be one of the (not yet released) TT slim bodies. However, I think Kirk was actually the shorter of the three, but Bones had a slighter build. Frankly, I don't think Spock will work on a TT, the shoulders are just way too broad, but I'm not going to worry about that now...

Kirk was the shortest and both Spock and McCoy have leaner and slightly taller builds. I don't plan on using the Buck because it doesn't wear well in tight clothes, but I have considered the Prometheus for shorter characters (I have a couple loose Pros sitting around to try out and the neck is compatible with TT heads). The TT does come in different builds, I'm using the leaner ones for Spock and McCoy and a bulkier one for Kirk. I'll probably buy a loose Michael Jackson body when he gets released and the parts hit Ebay, just to try out the body and see how it looks.

Using different bodies for the headsulpts is good! I am doing this too. Just remember the uniforms that I am making is for HT bodies.

I guess I'll just have to buy a few different bodies and wait to see which works best with what.
Which SST figures come with the Prometheus? I've only seen Indy, and he has no feet...
I'll get a regular True Type as well, and I have an Evo from Triad on pre-order. As for Bucks and DML's, I have enough to just switch around.
Nanjin, how do you plan on making the tight and pointed Star Trek boots work on figures' feet? Just curious, as getting feet to go into tight boots can be a true nightmare.

Not to mention different figures, have different type feet that all fit/work....well...differently.

Well, we know Nanjin is working the outfits for True Type bodies, so I suppose the idea is to make the boots work for those bodies as well. The real question would be whether that means just using pegs to insert into the boots or if actual feet will be the way to go. Or maybe the boots will have the feet already inside?
In any case, it's something we have to know, because then it just wouldn't be a matter of ill-fitting clothes on bodies other than the TT, it would mean that you can't use other bodies.

I will address this when I meet with the agent. Most likely we will need to insert the feet into the boots. If the boots include any type of joints, then the body types are limited. I am trying to make these items to be universal so each hobbiest can have their own choice on the types of body they want to use.

Wonderful!
But I do think you'll have to commit to the TT, as I don't think other body types are compatible with their ankle pegs/articulation.

The type heads being made would most likely easily fit Hot Toys, DML, Sideshow, BBi.....
It would be somewhat humorous if the boots wound up being the problematic part of it all.

Indy, The Dead Harbinger, and Belloq so far have the Prometheus body. All have the Shoe peg feet. Snake Eyes will be coming in the next few weeks too.

That is a bit silly, to have feet-less bodies...
I wonder when SST will release the Prometheus as carded figure.

I plan on switching Snake Eyes to a TT body. Hopefully the stupid feet don't become an issue, but I can always buy HT military boots to fit the TT body.

So is there any range or idea of how much each set of clothes (and accessories) will be?
