'Try using some museum putty' :slap :cuckoo:

Unprofessional. Chewed gum is the way to go.

I would use Velcro™ personally... :lecture

So bad perspectives?:lol

Ok before the recall starts I fixed my mask with a very easy trick...with the magnets I had no chance because it looks bad and I don´t wanna glue something on the base or the mask. But it works very fine with Velcro. You don´t need velcro an the stand...only on the sides of the magnetblock in the mask.So the mask cannot fall to one side and is solid.
I used white velcro to show but with black it will look a lot better.

And the winner is??

Haha..sorry I´m from germany..so I don´t know all the englisch terms.But I googelt the Velcro now...and there are "hooks" and "loops"on the velcro!:lecture:lol

I know that sounds all really funny...but it works very good on my mask. Its straight and feast on the base now.It should be only a help for people who wants to keep the mask and wants to remove the wonky attachment.:wink1:

Looks good man... I'll probably pick this one up again later down the road and use the patented Kroenen77 prickly & fleecy fix™!

I give you the exclusive license to build this revolutionary attachmentupdate. But only for your own mask...I´m in negotiations with Sideshow for their next projects!:clap:wink1:

And the laserhousing is also extreme big?I think it looks more "comicstyle".Cool...but not like the one in the movie.

I don't think any version of the P1 bio is perfect. I'm
not a complainer or dimensions expert as long as it's not super jacked up. Then the customs I can do as I chose with them. With that being said I'm pleased with mines instead of paying 400 for crap I have to fix.

Wow,nice collection,man!:)
About the sideshow P1:The Mask is no crap.Mine has the same quality like most of my other SS masks(besides of the paint I need to add in the blastingmarks). And the sculpt from Matt Rose is one of the closest to the moviemask in my eyes.
Only the base is crap...so its a double-edged sword because the SS mask is not really cheap.I was keeping my mask because the only other one I would buy is the HCG.But I would not pay the high prices for it..so the sideshow with the 2 little modifications is the way to go for me.And the low run of only 500 masks is also great.

Thanks for the compliment. I just feel like anything you have to work on after you pay $300 plus is crap. Maybe a bad choice of words but it is what it is. If your wasting man hours doing add on or painting the bio it's crap. I have the HCG just haven't put it on the wall. I moved and I'm being lazy. Plus the lense are jacked up as well.

The HCG mask is great.About the lenses: Is there acryl over the mesh?
About the SS P1:I did not spend hours for the updates...the painting was 10 minutes and the velcro 1 minute.:wink1:

Firefly, what are you using to keep your bio-masks up? I've been thinking of abandoning the Sideshow stands and going for something like that, I just don't know what to use.
